rather i'm here on trying to log into the opera forum in vivaldi i getting a error page and on login boxes. now in opera both pages are fine. any ideas? as for i'd personally rather have a full page that opens like in opera where i can select to delete all browsing history, or at least a button on the history sidebar that allows me to delete all history. any chance of either? thanks

@snarkybastard Do you have 3rd party cookies enabled for Vivaldi? It's necessary.
-
@ayespy 35th dimension cookies oO
Ok, that's enough, I'm deleting all my cookies -
@luetage Hah! (sorry, fixed it)

Ok, that's enough, I'm deleting all my cookiesLOL damn you JUST beat e to that comment. funny though 3rd party cookies are not necessary, cause i have them disabled in opera and chrome and have no problem logging into the forums here.

hey just thought i'd let you know looks like i figured out the problem. i have disable cookies extention for all browsers and it seems to be the problem in vivaldi. allowed 3rd party cookies and same issue, disabled disable cookies and can login now. thanks

It’s definitely not needed.
@SnarkyBastard Maybe preppend “[Solved]” to the thread subject, to ease other people’s minds and prevent needless visits to the thread

@dantesoft To log in to the forum and blog, one must have 3rd party cookies enabled. They are different domains, but share a single authentication server.
-
@AyeSpy That’s strange, because I’ve just cleared all cookies, restarted Vivaldi, and with my usual preferences of “Accept session cookies only” and “Block third-party cookies” I can login just fine, on both forum and blog.
-
@dantesoft Can you comment on the team blog directly too? Because that wasn't possible before without cross domain cookies.

may be i don't make it solved cause the login issue is only part of what i asked about.

NO THEY DO NOT! as i stated above i allowed 3rd party cookies and had the same problem so reenabled 3rd party cookies blocking and disabled the disable cookies extension and the problem was gone.

Do you mean at the bottom of e.g. https://vivaldi.com/blog/how-to-browse-faster/ ?
The comments section does not load for me at all, that's true, but I’d rather not fiddle with the settings/extensions that block it, because I consider it a website issue (when iframes, or whatever the comments section ends up as, don’t gracefully fallback, in this case to a link to https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/22202/5-built-in-vivaldi-features-that-help-you-browse-faster).
So it’s possible that I wouldn’t be able to comment there, but I can live with that

Sorry, I lost track of the other issue (pro tip: to keep discussions focused, use one question per forum thread).
Maybe Ctrl + Shift + Del works well enough for you?
Otherwise, there’s a
Delete all cookies
button at the bottom of the Privacy settings page. -
you didn't lose focus of the other topic since all you had to do was reread the original post.
