I have visited most of the waterfalls along the Blue Ridge Parkway here in North Carolina, maybe one day I might be able to visit this one. How does one get any work done with a scene like that?

@frobeno: During the winter it's often frozen like this I'd say it's frozen around a couple of months every year.
