Page on KIA site opening as if Vivaldi is a mobile device
-
This page: http://www.kia.com/de/specials/stinger/#/intro
opens fine in any other browser, with latest 1.13 Vivaldi it shows I should turn the device to show the content - seems to think Vivaldi is a mobile browser...
-
I tried the page and I see it in the same way in Vivaldi normally, by changing user agent to Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera. Also on actual Firefox 56, looks the same to me.
To see the "rotate your device" warning I have to actually open Developer tools, set it to dock on bottom and fake user agent as Android. -
This is what I see (uBlock and Privacy Badger installed).
-
how about disabling all extensions and see if it's one of them causing the trouble?
-
I have the exact same extensions in Firefox and it opens fine there. But will try.

Windows 10 Fall Update.

@dicks Works for me on Windows 10x64.
Looks like your Privacy Badger and uBlock Origin blocks too much.Try to clear cache in Clear Browser Data or Reload with Ctrl+Shift+R.
Will try that. Thx

Does it work in a Private Window (extensions are off there)?
Nope, same graphic shown.

CTRL+F5 does not work. I also tried different flash settings. No difference at all.

FWIW, the KIA page also opens fine here using Vivaldi 1.12.955.42 with Ghostery extension, blocked 3rd-party cookies, and Vivaldi's own user-agent string. However, if I start scrolling down the page after it's opened, it becomes impossible to back out of the site simply using Vivaldi's back arrow. There's some funky site code that auto-opens new pages once you scroll, faster than you can cause Vivaldi to back away... the only way out for me was to navigate directly using my Home page button or a bookmark. I mention this only to indicate that the site seems to be doing all kinds of coding 'automatic' tricks, one of which may somehow be tickled by a setting on your system that the site incorrectly auto-interprets as Android-like.

Similar problem here with the 1.14.1077.41 release and http://taz.de: When I first open the page, everything seems to be normal. Bute once I right-click on an articel and select "Open Link in New Background Tab" the mobile version is opened in the background. A usual single left click delivers the normal desktop version.
edit: disabling extensions does not help
