Alternate Use for the Side Panel
-
I never close the bookmark panel because first, I want to have access to the bookmarks constantly; and second, because I use the side panel to make the content area narrower (roughly 2/3 of the screen). Monitors these days are wide aspect so there are massive amounts of blank space to the left and right of the content area of most webpages. That is wasted space and having a panel allows the user to make utilize that space. Thus the need for a panel. (Obviously those who don't want it can close it.) I should add I like Vivaldi lets use make the panel very wide. FF doesn't allow pane to be made very wide. Attachments:
