Vivaldi forum input box small

The input box (this box I'm typing this message in) is a very small area on the webpage. If I unhide the panel on the left and then click one of the options there such as Downloads, Bookmarks, etc. ... then use the zoom slider bottom right of the page to 120%, then this input box takes up the entire page, which is much better mind you as I can see it much better. This is all kinda odd though I think. I'll take screenshots of this message as I try to type it in a normal webpage .... and again when I unhide the panel and click to show Downloads.
I guess the question is ... is this normal? Is that input box really supposed to be that small? Is there something I am doing wrong?
I'm fairly new to Viladi. Using Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa 64-bit.

Click on the black circle in upper left side, if you want the input box in full page.

@gwen-dragon Thanks for reply. My screen size is 1366*768. I need it that size to be able to read it .... even on my 55" flat screen. Eyes aren't that great. Still that is a very small area in the bottom left.

@hlehyaric Ah-ha! Wondered that that little black circle that looks like a #1 in it was for. That works wonders. Thank you. You've given me the courage to click that red cirle bottom right. It didn't hurt ... just hid this box and shows the forum. Well that solves that
Thank you both @hlehyaric and @Gwen-Dragon. I do have another non life threatening question I'll post shortly

@bluet You're welcome.

I didn't even notice "Hide preview". Maybe, time to change glasses.

@bluet Ah, yes some people have eye-sight problems. Like me
Did you try to increase the height of textarea with the black button and did you have clicked on the text Hide preview in right pane to get more width?
Ok I do see the 'Hide Preview' in the preview pane. Hadn't noticed it, thanks!
The height of textarea .... hmmmm ... nope haven't tried that. I don't understand what that is.
I have set the 'User Interface Zoom' to 115% in Appearance setting. That really helps with menus , bookmarks bar, etc ... nice option! -

It's about clicking on the black circle in upper left corner.

There is also a fullscreen button (7th button from the left in the reply box)

Oh yes ... that red arrow you pointed out earlier https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/168764 . I just didn't understand the terminology 'texterea'.
On a side note .... since I have also increased the minimum font to 130% (I guess this post is all about being blind now), what I thought was a #1 in that black box turns out to be a up and down arrow ... now it makes sense -

Would that be a Windows option? I don't see any buttons besides formatting + Compose + Show Preview. I can go fullscreen with F11 or RighttClk > select Fullscreen. But I didn't know that until now. I'm good to go now with that black circle to show the input box. Thanks everyone, you all have been so helpful! I'm always open to more tips though for sure!

@bluet That's the "Full screen" button.

Oh my I must be blind. I am not usually this .... hmmmm .... shall I say intellectually challenged. I should not reveal my mistake but a hint was I had a problem with lefty/righty. Thanks for your help. In an attempt to justify my lapse ... I have never seen a fullscreen button in a formatting options menu.

luetage meant for the forum text input, it looks like an x but if you look close you see it is arrows
