Flash blocked by new chromium version
-
I got the latest flash, yet still I see the block screen. When checking vivaldi://version I notice that vivaldi uses Pepper Flash Player, but in an older version. But I got the latest version of Vivaldi, so apparently it's not bundled in. How do I update this Pepper Flash Player?

F1, type flash, it shows
https://help.vivaldi.com/?s=flash
it's explained there. The latest is 27.0.0.170 -
But I do have Flash player installed with latest version!

@gwen-dragon As I said, it is: Macintosh
OS X Firefox, Safari - NPAPI 27.0.0.170
Chrome (embedded) - PPAPI 27.0.0.170
Opera, Chromium-based browsers - PPAPI 27.0.0.170But when I go to vivaldi://version it says Flash 27.0.0.159 /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/PepperFlashPlayer/PepperFlashPlayer.plugin
-
@gwen-dragon Again: Yes I did.
-
Same: Vivaldi 61.0.3163.102 ()
OS Mac OS X
Flash plugin 27.0.0.159 /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/PepperFlashPlayer/PepperFlashPlayer.plugin -
I tried a restart, now it's showing correct version.
-
@gwen-dragon you probably meant .170
But yeah, I guess even with auto-updates on vivaldi and flash, flash updated after vivaldi, so vivaldi didn't reinitialize the flash player version because the vivaldi update came too early. restarting vivaldi should solve it. -
