Do not load me favicon from "Twitter"
-
Since version 1.10 the favicon of "Twitter" does not load me, I thought that in this version 1.11 it would be fixed, but nothing. Any solution?

It loads for me. Try clearing your browser data and restart Vivaldi.

Have you tried to clear the browser cache? Maybe could fix it

If I am sure that by clearing the cache, I will solve the problem. But I do not want to do it, since I live in Cuba, and the cache is the main weapon for a country with slow navigation jajajjaja. That's why I asked if there was another solution, thank you all !!

I've got this problem as well. And not just on Twitter. Ebay is also missing the icon. Does this relate to Vivaldi's custom user agent string by any chance?
Anyway, tried to delete the browser data both via Vivaldi's front end and in Chromium itself, no difference.
Also, resetting the profile won't better it as well as deleting and/or copying the favicons and favicons-journal files in \User Data\Default won't do the trick.
Obviously, it's only a minor and forgivable issue but still a bit annoying.

The problem is not solved by removing the cache. I had to uninstall the Vivaldi with everything from 0 and reinstall it again.

Does Twitter's icon appear again after reinstallation?
Technically however, it was being reported that a profile reset and complete reinstallation are basically the same in terms of eliminating issues. -
You could have just loaded the favicon directly.
https://abs.twimg.com/favicons/favicon.ico
https://www.ebay.com/favicon.icoIf the image for the above url would not show up you could just hit Ctrl+F5 to force re-download the file. After that you just soft-reload the page. Actually I would prefer to first hibernate or close any twitter/ebay tab before loading the icon.

@An_dz Will give this a try. Thanks!

Solution for users utilising uBlock Origin having this problem:
- Deactivate uBlock Origin
- Reload affected website, favicon should be downloaded
- Activate uBlock Origin
This should be a one-time procedure.
