Windows Installer Launches

Every time I launch Vivaldi I get the Preparing to Install...dialogue. I have searched here but cannot determine how to get it to stop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Vivaldi. It may have occurred when I uninstalled Nero (what is that? Do I need it?)
Thanks in advance.***Vivaldi 1.11.917.43 (Stable channel) (32-bit)

@tiger_words Nero is a CD/DVD-burning utility. Windows has this capability built-in (tho not as fancy as Nero) so, arguably you don't need it. It's possible that removing Nero corrupted the part of your registry that catalogs the completion of write-to-disk, so that Windows can no longer tell that Vivaldi is finished installing. Have you re-started your computer since you a) installed Vivaldi and b) uninstalled Nero?

@ayespy This is so strange. Not only did I do the same thing over again recently - delete Nero and get the annoying windows installer pop up - but I didn't know that I had posted this question a year ago with the same issue but under a different user name.
Woops, I did it again.
Since I had at some point reinstalled Nero, I guess that's the way I stopped the pop up. But it's annoying, although moreso than Nero itself. -
