vivaldi.net Caldav and carddav not working on macos
-
Hi, I am thrilled to learn that vivaldi.net supports caldav and carddav.
The thing is that it does not really work. I tried to setup caldav and carddav on macos in vain (just fill in the whole email address, password and the url manually from settings). It told me my username or password is wrong. But I am pretty sure the password is not to blame.
Someone suggests that I'd better double check with curl. here is my curl log. the username, password and resourceid have been redacted.
curl -D - -X PROPFIND --basic -u $username:$password https://webmail.vivaldi.net/dav/server.php/calendars/$username/$resourceid
HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized Date: Sat, 02 Sep 2017 06:34:58 GMT Server: Apache/2.4.7 (Ubuntu) X-Powered-By: PHP/5.5.9-1ubuntu4.22 X-Server: AfterlogicDAVServer WWW-Authenticate: Digest realm="SabreDAV",qop="auth",nonce="59aa511238211",opaque="df58bdff8cf60599c939187d0b5c54de" Content-Length: 243 Content-Type: application/xml; charset=utf-8 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <d:error xmlns:d="DAV:" xmlns:s="http://sabredav.org/ns"> <s:exception>Sabre\DAV\Exception\NotAuthenticated</s:exception> <s:message>No digest authentication headers were found</s:message> </d:error>
But I can open https://webmail.vivaldi.net/dav/server.php/calendars/$username/$resourceid with the credentials in a browser. Can some reproduce the error? Is the error just on my side? How can I fix it? Thank you in advance.
