Two awesome new features – Vivaldi Browser Snapshot 1.12.947.3
-
@matycz: You can use my mod at https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/10590/overlay-panels until that is available.
-
Very good! Thank you for adding the download speed.
-
@matycz: only as an option!
it's better to say "make an option to do X" than "do X"
-
bookmarking in full-screen,
@axander: On Speed Dial there is a
Bookmarks
button to the right of + button --- click it! -
I still can't believe that features like "adjustable saturation for accent colors" are intoduced as "awesome", whereas it is still not possible to sort stacked tabs manually and reproducably... * sigh *
-
@christoph142: Wow, nice mod! Thank you very much!
-
@jacekn: Yes, option is much better than permanent change.
-
It would be nice to have some meta data when an image file is open (resolution, file size & EXIF)
Like that: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exchangeable_Image_File_Format#/media/File:SeaMonkey-Exif.pngThanks a lot

Excellent, but it pains me that Vivaldi uses Blink.
On my old Linux notebook it's becoming unusable. It just monopolizes the RAM turning the whole system slow and overall the processes use to much CPU time. -
@panino use some other tool that fits your need then, it's that simple; old Linux notebook might be replaced with something new, else just use something that runs better there.
-
@axander Vote for my feature request. Currently, shortcuts that open bookmarks or panels still work in fullscreen, but one sees nothing until exiting from fullscreen, which is worse than useless.
@pesala said in Feature requests for 1.12:
Enable Show Toolbar Shortcuts for Fullscreen

Two awesome new features is a Sync and Mail

@cqoicebordel
+1
I would love to see the ability to drag downloads from the panel into other apps like "normal" files.
E.g. a to move a download into another folder by dragging it above the folder in the file explorer or to drag a downloaded picture into an open app etc. -
Nice to see the love that the downloads panel is getting. But what would be really awesome would be the addition of a new panel: a Links panel similar to the one that existed in Opera 12 and earlier. The ability to open mulitple links files at the same time or download multiple files, the ability to filter links on a page based on words in the link text or filename (eg. filtering by pdf), the ability to copy urls for multiple links, and the ability to copy the text of multiple links are things that I do on a regular basis and remain one of the last two reasons I still have Opera 12 installed on my computer (The other being integrated e-mail and rss feeder - but you are already working on that...)

since this update I had 2 black birds while surfing/reading at a webpage. but a simple reload fixed it.
win7x64 normal multiuser installationedit: whooah, first bluescreen since >6 years while typing here!
-
Looks like my mouse is somewhere else and the highlighted entries are somewhere else in address bar dropdown list.
-
@saudiqbal confirmed, the problem of desynchronized highligting is back for me too.
Deleting a dozen of typed history entries seem to have mitigated it, especially those prefixed with w or g (wikipedia or google searches in my case) -
The new download panel info is fantastic! Very useful!
-
@axander: Yes, being able to set a standard improves the workflow, but e.g. for me it would be the second field, the folder selection. To me personally a non-issue, just my two cents.

When you open-in-new-tab image files via Developer Tools / Souces, the image file is opened twice, in 2 tabs. This is a bug right? Because in Opera's Developer Tools has stopped behaving like this, i.e. only 1 tab. Has this bug already been reported?
