ReimagePlus Adware Redirect
-
Since a few days ago I get redirected to the reimageplus.com site when opening certain bookmarks. Apparently it's adware but neither my Antivirus, nor Malwarebytes finds anything. It's not in the add-ons or installed software list either.
Does anyone have an idea how to get rid of it?Environment:
Windows 8.1
Vivaldi 1.11.917.39 (32-Bit) -

found by googling it

EDIT: Ok, sorry for this, it's a scam, DO NOT go there! -

List your extensions. Sometimes, are bundled with addonjet/reimage.
Usually, removing infected one, solve this issue. -
Thanks for checking, I've edited the link so it's no longer clickable.
I added malwaretips.com to the blocked urls, just in case. -
@Marko-Indaco
Thank you for the links. I tried both but they didn't solve the problem.
(apart from that I really wonder why Malwarebytes doesn't include those in the functionality of their main product...but that's another question).@Hadden89
Sorry I wrote "add-ons" when I meant extensions.
Nothing fishy or new in there. -
So far it only seems to happen on Vivaldi and only when I access the site eplus.jp (it doesn't occur if I access the site with other browsers)... it's a legit Japanese ticket site similar to ticketmaster in the US, definitely not supposed to redirect to shady sites.

@Marko-Indaco already suggested it and I tried it without success:Thank you for the links. I tried both but they didn't solve the problem.

Whoops.
At this point, the best solution will be to start with a new vivaldi profile and see if it works correctly, then. -
@Hadden89
I un- and reinstalled and it's fixed now. -
