Cannot use/connect to a website
-
With this current upgrade to version 1.11.917.39 (Stable channel) (32-bit) on Windows I cannot use/download or reliably click on a button on the nexus Skyrim site ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/ ) or the Skyrim SE site (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/). Before this update I could reliably download, click on buttons to endorse images, or buttons to endorse mods, from either site, but now nothing works, just throws errors without any explanation in the error box. I do have Web of Trust, Privacy Badger, HTTPS Everywhere and Xmarks installed and appears that everything is working correctly atm. None of the previous add-ons exhibited any intrusive behaviour before this update.
Anyone have any ides for workarounds or fixes to this problem? -
Well, try without these extensions. You could also try with a different user-agent. I don't see anything not working on your example site, but I probably can't figure out what you are really trying to click.

essentially, I go to the Nexus Skyrim site and attempt to download a mod. Before, I could just click on the download button on the file page for any particular mod and I would be able to download to the Nexus Mod Manager and NMM would take care of installation of the mod. Currently, when I do the same all i get is a red bordered box with the indication of
An error occured
written in the top bar of the small error window.
For example.... I go to the mod page (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53867) Mirai - the Girl with the Dragon Heart and click on the Files tab, then scroll down to the Optional section and see SkyMirai Dragonborn and click on the green DOWNLOAD WITH MANAGER button. I immediately get thisAn error occured
box . Closing this box and clicking on the download manually button causes the same error to occur. This now happens with any mod I attempt to download when using Vivaldi.Just trying to make the problem clearer for you.

Does the pages work in Private Window? If yes, it is one of you extensions breaking the site.
Check which one is the bad:
- Open Extension Manager (Ctrl+Shift+E)
- Disable all extensions
- Enable next extension
- Check if Webpage works
If yes goto step 3
If no, you got the extension which breaks the site
Ok...did that. I have 4 extensions, Google Translate, HTTPS Everywhere, Privacy Badger & WOT (Web of Trust).
When disabling all extensions, the web page does not work. I cannot log onto the Nexus site. When Https Everywhere is enabled I can log on to the site.
I then disabled HTTPS and attempted to log onto various financial institutions web sites and was successful in logging on to those sites. I am beginning to think it is something in Nexus site, because I have been able to log in to 12 different web sites that require log-ins, both with and without HTTPS running. (Nexus will not allow me to log on to their web site without HTTPS running, yet That site will not allow me to download any file....Too Strange). Thanks for your suggestion, it provided me with some insight I was missing,
