Feature requests for 1.11

Could we get a real tile for Windows 10? Opera, Chrome, Firefox, Cliqz, and Edge have them. Looks much nicer than just an old icon.
Preferably more like Cliqz or Edge. Opera's is too big, and Firefox kept their old gradient heavy logo instead of going with something like Firefox Focus.
Nice and flat with an appropriate size, please.

Feature Suggestion: Notifying in textbox if Caps Lock is toggled. I think it will be really useful if we could have the feature I mentioned in the title, especially when in password mode. Because we do not need to take a look on the little green light in the keyboard but has a little icon just inside the textbox. It is also a generic feature in macOS of all system password textbox.

Well, yes I saw some keyboards without the green light for caps lock (why?!)
On text box if possible, or maybe even a little popup or/and CapsLockON in status bar (optional) could be useful -
@Hadden89 This could actually be done as custom modification. If more people are interested I'll take a look at it.

Ability to hide extension icons in some sort of menu (kinda like Chrome does it).
Really handy for rarely used extensions or extensions where clicking the icon is usually not needed. -
@Omen_20 I don't think so, it is useful with a PC, too.
But I found out that there already is some kind of "Go" button, although it isn't very intuitive: After entering the URL one can click the Vivaldi logo at the left in the address bar and it will open the typed URL.

@Regnas
This feature is already there but not as drag and drop.
Select the text --> rightclick on it --> select search with -
@zaibon Not the same thing.... Once you start using it you'll see what I'm talking about...
Also, every chromium browser has it, I think the vivaldi team just forgot to add this.... -
@Regnas
As I see it the basic function is indeed the same (in addition you can even select which searchengine should be used).
Of course drag and drop is way more handy - I won't argue with this. -

@Regnas
Yes indeed not too bad xD -
Add option to use smaller buttons in the sidebar panel.
I like having the sidebar buttons always visible but I don't like having to hide/unhide the sidebar when I want to quick access to the Downloads panel.
Seems nominal, but it matters to me. Similar to the taskbar option in Windows, "Use small taskbar buttons"

Only one instance (only one window) of Vivaldi active
I don't know why anyone would vote down this feature request. It is a perfectly reasonable request.

Add a Multiple text selection like the Ctrl+D functionality in https://www.sublimetext.com
This will be useful for commenting in forums to change a same word we typed into another
-
@Pesala Not at all
Vivaldi as Chromium has the ability to have multiple instance it is preferable for RAM consumption controling, and avoid also crashes due to one website on one tab -
@Regnas Which OS do you use ?
I'm asking you because I have a graphical bug on opera
-
@Al.tair Windows 10 Home 64-bit

-
"Show panel" button (in the status bar) customizable
Can be hidden.
Can be right-sided. (Follow "Panel Position" setting.) -
Video pop-out feature as is done in Opera.
