How to set Watching or Ignoring rules

[Part 1] - How to set Watching or Ignoring rules.
When a user join the Forum the first time, after the registration process, he probably see a huge of unread post (blue arrow on the first screenshot). This is happens because the settings is setted to Watching, by default, all the Categories including all the sub-categories.
You should also keep in mind that if Watching is selected within a precise category, all sub-categories will become watched. Now, if you're frustated because huge amount of post that probably most of them do not interest you, you can simply switch by choose to Ignoring setting.
At the moment I write this post Forum is divided by 5 main Categories (black square in the screenshot)Every time you enter inside one of these categories, you enter in a specific zone, and you can find a Watching and Ignoring button on the bottom right
For different threads within the forums, you have the additional option of "Not Watching" (it appears as unread, but there are no notifications of updates) (thanks @TbGbe for report this supplementary option)
you can also see the full address (red sqaure on 3rd screenshot)
if you instead enter in one of the sub-Forum, from now the Watching button will be in the upper-right (blue arrow on the 3rd screenshot)PS
@Vivaldi-Moderators feel free (if you can edit) to modify, add, improve this post. Unfortunately I have the italian version of the Forum, so maybe some words are incorrect. -
@Marko-Indaco The options in English for the Forums is "Watching" or "Ignoring".

@TbGbe thank you for reply and adding. I'll try to replace text and screenshots as soon as I have some time.
Would be much faster if someone with english Forum would like to contribute -
@Marko-Indaco I got the hint
English screenshots:
"Home screen" - showing unread items (I have 5)
Note the language specific Local Forums for non-english posters"In thread" screen - showing Watching (notifications) / Not Watching (no notifications) / Ignoring
