Flash Problem causes blue screen crash
-
Installed Flash as described on your website, and after installation, when I play a flash video, it plays for a short time and then I get the blue screen crash. I tried a second time to play a flash video with the same result. So I unistalled the flash player and reinstalled. When I tried it again I got exactly the same result. I am using a Windows 10 computer. I would like to start using this awesome browser, so if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.

Thank you. The site is a the website for the cbs affiliate in Phila: http://philadelphia.cbslocal.com I wanted to look at the video on the homepage, and then tried to watch the weather report (go to the tab at the top that says "watch"). Thanks again.

Yes, this computer is 5-6 years old. The graphics card is a ATI Redeon 4D 4200. I have plenty of RAM.
Vivaldi 1.9.818.50 (Stable channel) (32-bit)
Revision 31248f6d63af73f83674f14779c07f98d43acc5cThe flash version is the recommended Opera/Chromium version. Just one other thing is that I have not had any flash issues before with this computer. Thanks again.

Thank you again. Based on your initial comments, would you agree that it may be the video drivers?

I haven't tried anything yet. I am not sure what to try next. Is deactivating hardware something I should try? Again, I appreciate your help.

Also, BSODs are often caused by bad drivers, as @Gwen-Dragon said.
Since this happens on playing a video, I suppose video decoding is at fault, you could try updating your GPU and sound card drivers. Also, I think @Gwen-Dragon didn't mean that you didn't have enough RAM but rather that your RAM could be faulty, you could try and run a memory diagnostic such as memtest86+ or the one built into Windows since Windows 7).
Side note :
To diagnose a BSOD, most of the time the BCCode is useful : you can find it, for instance, with this tool ("Bug Check Code" column).
There are also dedicated forums to track down BSODs, where experienced users can help you diagnose your problem, for instance at the Bleeping Computer forum. -
Thank all of you. I will first deactivate hardware acceleration as Gwen suggested. I checked my video drivers and at least according to the search in Windows 10, I have the latest drivers. I did not check the sound card drivers but will check that as well. Just as a check, I used Chrome last night and flash worked perfectly on this computer. I installed Vivaldi on my HP laptop that is also a few years old, and added flash and it worked perfectly on that computer. So it appears as both of you suggest that the problem is with this computer. Thanks again.

Thank Gwen and IcePanther. Deactiviation of hardware acceleration solved my problem! I am now switching from Chrome to Vivaldi! Thank you both for your help.
