Feature request: more flexible "back/forward" buttons
-
In Firefox at least, possibly other browsers, you can ctrl/shift/right-click items in the context menus you get after right-clicking the back/forward buttons. This makes it behave in the same way as if that menu item were a link - ie. opening in a new tab, new window, background tab etc.
This is useful because you often want to open the previous page in a new tab, without navigating away from the current page.

@robhol You can also Clone the current tab with a rightclick on the tab so you get a duplicate of the tab which results more or less in your requested feature.
It is also possible to map a Keyboard shortcut or a mousegesture to execute this function.
