I cannot install any extensions
-
Hello,
I use latest stable windows 10, atest Vivaldi and I cannot install any extensions.
There is any solutions?Thank you.

@radek: How long have you been using Vivaldi? Have you ever installed extensions before? What happens when you try to install one?
-
@radek Do you use any kind of security software - what error message do you get when you try to install? Or is the problem that you can't find the extension store?
If the second one is the case press "Ctrl + Shift +E" to enter the extension site than click on "Get more Extensions" -

I use Vivaldi from beta. I do not know, maybe 1 year. I cannot install any extensions before on this PC. This is my first Vivaldi installation on this PC. I use Vivaldi on another PC with the same Windows and there is no problem with extensions installation. When I install extensions Vivaldi freezes.

I get no error but Vivaldi freeze. I can find the extension in store. There is no problem the problem appears when I click on install extension.
Sorry for my English.

@radek Some other user had problems caused by comodo too a week or two back (can't find the specific post at the moment though)
When you search for comodo in the forum search you get a vague idea at what I am hinting at.
No matter if vivaldi and comodo work together on another computer I would recommend that your first try should be to deactivate comodo (for testing purpose) and try to install extensions if that's not gonna work (very likely ) uninstall comodo and give the extensions a retry.
Do yourself a favour and save some time by not even starting with whitelisting before you tried those two options.
Comodo is a pretty tough firewall but that may be a bit of the problem in this case. -
Some others had this issue after creator update of windows (on chrome too), probably worth check/uninstall latest kb
I had similiar issues with some KBs of windows treshold updates (pre-redstone) -

When I want install extension it freeze again. There is only CHECKING and I cannot close any tab even browser. I must close browser through Task MAnager.

-
@radek: I have creator update on four machines and zero Vivaldi problems. Have you refreshed your profile?
-
Start trying refresh profile like Aye said above, then try to uninstall the latest kb to see if it solve the issue.
Of course, usually the updates are safe in their first days, but sometimes can cause issues with software/performance combined with particular hardwares. -
