Thnx, unfortunately it doesn't solve the crashes I get when closing multiple tabs at once and also sometimes just 1 tab with CMD - W. (On MacOS 10.12.4)
-

i can't see on-line shoppinh mall as well.

So i want down grade with my bookmark -
When vivaldi updates the snapshots, it brings up a session with the latest release notes, but it seems to always be picking the blog post for the last stable release, not the blog post for the snapshot. Is that a known issue?
(i.e. this link https://vivaldi.com/blog/vivaldi-makes-history/?hl=en-gb&version=1.9.818.3&os=W10.0.15063 goes to the wrong place, so it may be a vivaldi.net issue instead, i'm not sure)
-
@heinivanbergen: yep, we have seen there as well. Are you moving the mouse (and/or touching the keypad) around the time or shortly after cmd-w?
-
@lonm: don't worry about that for now. It is picking the latest snapshot annoucement (not the latest snapshot)
-
@opopjh: can you provide a link to this mall website?
-
@viwalter: just check for updates on Windows and Mac. On Linux you will get updates with the rest of your OS updates if you have installed a snapshot before.
-
@ruario In my case it occasionally happens when I close a tab with the standard mouse gesture. I get a spinning wheel (osx) and then Vivaldi crashes.
-
Please make switching tabs by RMB+scroll great again!!
(Right now, since 1.8, it's coupled with "Switch Tabs by Scrolling", which is useless if you have a lot of tabs in the side tab bar so you still would like to scroll the tab bar without it switching tabs; and being able to have a ton of tabs is what makes a lot of use love Vivaldi ). -
@XtremAlRaven Vote for the feature in the Feature Request thread.
@pafflick said in Feature requests for 1.9 / 1.10:
Split the "Switch Tabs by Scrolling" feature into two independent features
- Switch tabs using the RMB + scroll
- Switch tabs using the scroll wheel while hovering over the tab bar
Currently, you can only enable/disable both of them at once.
-
@heinivanbergen: I have this same issue, unfortunate that it's not fixed with this snapshot
-
@luetage: Same. One way I've been using that seems to prevent the crash is just using the "x" on the tab to close it. Both Ctrl+W & mouse gestures seem to cause the crash -- randomly, as it doesn't seem to happen EVERY time...but enough so that I only close tabs with the "x" on the tab now

For some reason this page (online dictionary) often 'traps' my address bar:
http://pl.bab.la/slownik/angielski-polski/effectively
After going there, no matter what I type into address bar or search field it just keeps reloading itself. -
FYI, it happened again... Had a clean install of the current Chrome-beta on my system, then did a clean install of this new Vivaldi snapshot. As soon as I clicked "Always Allow" to grant access to my keychain, Vivaldi deleted and re-added (and effectively seized ownership of) the 'Chrome Safe Storage' key.
I suspect that this is related to: https://codereview.chromium.org/2721333005
Is there any reason why you still have any commonalities with Chrome, whether it's creating a "~/Library/Application Support/Google" directory or using "Chrome Safe Storage" in the Keychain or ...?
-
Unfortunately, the update did not address the certificate issue that I was having, whereby Vivaldi gives "Your connection is not private" every time I navigate a certain set of sites. Chrome does not have that problem. Bypassing via "advanced" does not persist the exception.

Thanks for fixing the panel! Having the toggle not be transparent was pretty annoying.
-
Much thanks for the fix!
