@gaelle drop down history in the Panel Bookmark Search filter, as there is with the Address Bar Search field.
-
@gaelle A much bigger search history in the Address Bar Search field, with an extender. Clear it under Settings. Help me remember where I've been.

would be nice to have the option to open an hibernate tab...you click on open and the tab open and immediately hibernate instead of loading...since vivaldi is quite a ram eater it would be a very welcomed option to me...
-
I would love to use the Home and End keys on the speed dial page, like with every other site. Can we get that please?
-
@Wicket1138 They do actually work already, but only if a speed dial thumbnail has focus first. Select a speed dial thumb by dragging it slightly, then press End or Home to see what I mean. The problem is that on a speed dial tab, the text cursor is always focused on the URL field, which is what most users would want. I see no way to focus the thumbnails without using the mouse.

would like to see translation function as seen in Chrome and Yandex Browser. Vivaldi would then add to this feature by adding an ability to translate individual words or sentences by selecting them and selecting translate from the context menu.

Automatic zoom:
Introduction: We can zoom a webpage manually if we want to.
Suggestion: Please implement an option that enables automatic zoom for each activ page so that the full page is visible, but appears in a size as much as possible (uses the full monitor width).
-
Only at first startup Vivaldi should ask users if install the flash player explaining what it's used for.

@Pesala Thx for your answer.

Support customizable date format, especially ISO8601.
Currently vivaldi doesn't even respect the OS-wide setting on Win10.

@Tuexss said in Feature requests for 1.9 / 1.10:
Bookmark usage counter
Counts how often a bookmarked site has been opened, let's you sort bookmarks by that count. This helps with showing most important bookmarks first and discovering unused bookmarks.
or how many you have in total on in a folder. I think the old Opera had this.
-
@julioc1984 maybe taking some of those text menus and becoming them icon menu to reduce space.
-
@dLeon - While I realize that "fixing" this might entail opening a can of worms:
I notice that when I right click on a selection and select Print, a Print Selection option becomes visible in the Print dialog. Apparently, everything I want is already there, but just not exposed in the original dialog.

Operate on multiple bookmarks in the Bookmarks page
I use a lot of bookmark folders. I just added one which is a subcategory of the folder it is in. Once I did that, I wanted to move all the bookmarks that fit into this new sub-category from the folder into the sub-folder. There were a bunch of them - which is why I created the sub-folder.
I found I had to do them one at a time because I did not see a way (like Ctrl+Left Click) to mark multiple entries and move them all at once.
I said "operate" because this might also be nice for other things like deleting a bunch of bookmarks at one time.
Whenever you operate on one bookmark, the whole list updates and things move around on the screen (as you would expect them to). If you're really doing just one thing, that's the way it should work, but if you are trying to do a bunch of things, it becomes necessary to reorient and find the next thing each time which is inefficient and frustrating.

@josephj11 Ctrl + Left Click works fine. Ctrl + Shift Left Click also selects a range, but that doesn't quite work as expected in combination with Ctrl + Left Click.
After selecting, Ctrl X, Ctrl V or drag and drop can be used to move the selected bookmarks to another folder or to a subfolder.
