No Vimeo Videos Playing, YouTube Hit and Miss...

OK, this one is annoying...
I have three Macs. Well, at least two Macs and a Hackintosh.
They are all running the most recent version of Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4.
They are all running the most recent version of Vivaldi ( 1.8.770.56 (Stable channel) (64-bit) ) at the time of this writing.
The most recent version of Flash (Pepper) is installed on all three systems. On the first system, a 2014 MacBook Pro with Intel graphics, all videos play fine.
On my other two systems, a Mac Pro from 2008 with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 570, running Nvidia's web drivers and a Hackintosh running an AMD RX 480, Vimeo videos will not play at all and some YouTube videos (maybe 25% of them, usually newly posted videos), seemingly randomly, will not play either.
When the play button is pressed, they seem to load endlessly but never play.
Frustratingly, I can load up Safari, copy and paste the URLs there and the videos will play without a problem.
I have gone onto the vivaldi://flags page and tried enabling the 'Override software rendering list' flag. It seems to make no difference.
And, of course, I've tried disabling all extensions. No difference.
And yet, it's only on my two desktop machines. It works without a hitch on Vivaldi on my laptop.
Since I have a workaround by copying and pasting URLs to Safari, it hasn't been an absolute priority. But I sure would love to be able to use Vivaldi normally on all of my machines!
Would anyone care to venture a guess as to what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance for any answers!

@MAO002 Hard to say. Check vivaldi://gpu and look for any problems. Additionally you can try to install Chrome/Opera (optimally with the same chromium version as Vivaldi) to find out if it is a general Chromium, or a Vivaldi specific issue.

I have the same problem on all of my Macs (OS Sierra). The problem happens with videos on Lynda.com, on Vimeo.com and other sites like svtplay.se, tv4play.se and sometimes (!) Youtube.
Very annoying! This problems happens with or without Adblock.
Updated a bunch of flags in vivaldi://flags that seemed to have to do with GPU rendering of pages. Now Lynda.com worked. Vimeo.com didn't...
Continued with solving "problems" in vivaldi://gpu and now it works!
Strange thought it didn't work by default. -
Have no idea why? But at my Mac at home, that doesn't have Nvidia.
I cannot get videos to show on Vimeo, but they do show when they are embedded. WTH?

@luetage I just tried this and seems to be the same problem with Opera. No sound on certain YouTube video and Twitter videos.
The tab animation in Opera thinks there's sound but nothing is coming out.
