"Open link in this tab" in context menu
-
Often one doesn't want the link to be automatically opened in a new tab upon tab, this is where the option "Open link in this tab" in the link's context menu comes in handy. I don't know if it's already possible in any existing mods, like VivaldiHooks, hence I request it here.

Links normally open in the same tab, if it's outgoing links they often open in another one, so if you don't want that on certain occasions it would make sense. Then again it's another entry in the already massive menu, and you could always just close the original tab.

Do you mean to say this feature has to be implemented as completely new to the software code, it cannot be just added to the context menu (perhaps via mods etc)?
-
@Med1aN1ck It's already implemented since 1.8 and it's called simply "Open Link". Give it a try.

@pafflick Damn, I never used that menu item. It's superfluous lol.

That's what you call the power of habit - all this time I was looking for the "Open link in this tab" line, overlooking the short text of the command ... Thanks for pointing it out to me, pafflick.
