That was fast... Thanks!
Also, FYI, just saw something that the Chrome folks will be doing that could affect Vivaldi + Chrome users on macOS since both use the "Chrome Safe Storage" key:
Reauthorize Keychain to Replace Developer ID Certificate
https://codereview.chromium.org/2721333005Unfortunately, the bug details are restricted. I'm not sure if they actually plan to replace the value of "Chrome Safe Storage" in the keychain or just deleting and re-adding the entry. The change was recently merged to the M57 branch as well.

Could you correct this bug before the final release ?

@dLeon said in History polish – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1.8.770.40:
Version .38 -> .40?
yes, why, what it's troubling you about it?
-
@dLeon Why are you even asking?
Why 25 > 32? Why 32 > 38?
No doubt they have some internal builds that don't make it out of the door.

Is there a fix concerning the "magically disappearing" pinned tabs in the works?
-
Since the last version when you fixed a tab and closes the browser and when it opens it again the fixed tab is not opened, as if it was not fixed, sometimes this happens.
-
Hmm, I also noticed a few problems with scrolling which I have never seen before. Sometimes, when I slowly scroll down a page with the mouse wheel, the page will jump back up where it was before...and it will do it again, and again, and again. Really annoying,
-
Thank you Ruarí!! I was looking that on snapshot 1.8.770.38 and now I hope the popups will open on a new window rather than on a tab
-
@helsten2: I have to admit that something similar was happening to me with the previous SS. It was inside the small facebook chat window. It was not reproducible in 100% cases so I just thought it's FB issue… maybe it's not.
W10 x64 with previous x32 build -
I'm trying to understand what this means, but it's not clear to me:
"[Windows] Enable the update notifier for the main install: can be switched off (or enabled from another build) via a setting"
-
egression: Auto-complete prefers the bookmarks even when the option is off.

This issue started maybe 3 snapshots ago. When I open a new window (private or regular), there seems to be a minor bug with the interface.
The addressbar isn't focused. And there is a thin line above the first tab. I have the option to remove the tab spacing at the top when the window is maximized. I have to minimize and then maximize the window again to remove the space above the tabs. It also seems like I need to click twice to focus the addressbar.
I uploaded a screenshot.
I'm on Linux Mint 18.1 (x64)

When will it be possible to solve the problem of third party dial extension?

Please fix the close button not visible sometimes bug.

Hey Yahoo Mail updated their mail layouts and for some reason has consigned Vivaldi as some relic browser and is forcing their ugly Classic Mail on us. I don't want to go back to 1999 and I don't want to give up Vivaldi. Is there some way to fix that?
-
@mab52: I was about to post regarding this at this very moment, but saw yours... Same here. Browser sniffing bad practices came back... Damn Yahoo...
Could you please verify this, guys? Thanks in advance.
Win10 x64, Viv x64.

@mab52, I use Agent Switcher extension, had same problem at freenet.de mail.
I have a Yahoo mail account too but never got problem with it.
Thank you for spotting about "Standard" mail, switched immediately to 1999 Classic.Cheers, mib

@ck13: We need better menu support for this to work. It is planned.
