Hotkey to hibernate all background tabs

It could even be argued that it would be better to keep all of the buttons together on the right, even with the panel on the left, but perhaps that is too radical?
This is how I think it would work best with the panel on the right.

Isn't that one cause of slowliness in USB drive/stick because they're usually partitioned as fat32? I read some people have more luck when they re-partition to ntfs or ext234. I don't bother to try, write speed will be still slow.
Well, as long as NTFS is a journaling filesystem, it's not much good for flash drives.
It decreases performance & lifespan of memory cells, because of tons of additional written data.
So in principle, FAT32 or exFAT should be faster than NTFS.
ext2 or ext4 (with disabled journal) is also OK, but not for Windows systems. -
It'd be very helpful if we could select the audio device Vivaldi is using. I often play music off of Vivaldi, and occasionally it would be helpful to have this functionality.

@Pesala
The best option is to use ISO format: yyyy-mm-dd:ISO sort:

@pacopata I wonder why? If you set up multiple Speed Dial folders, the bookmarks will look pretty much like they do in current versions of Opera. Isn't that what you were asking for?

My preference is ISO sorting. It eliminates any confusion. You cannot read a date wrong once you know it's in use.
-
@g_bartsch I am sure that one size fits all would be best here. ISO format would be fine for sorting, and also avoids any confusion over its meaning. Anyone can get used to it.

possibility to close tab from the list of menu item "Window"
button on the right hand end of the object. That would be also consistent with how tabs work (One doesn't have to switch to the tab to close the tab on tab panel) and with my previous request (in this thread) for such button and behavior for bookmarks panel's items.
-
menu item Window (list), please do not overlap the menu item by the list itself, if there is a lot of opened tabs on the list, thus list is very long...
When I click on Window, then list doesn't show up, or maybe rather show up for such short period of time, that only shadow on the right hand side is rendered. To make the list visible I need to hold left mouse button for little longer then just click it AND move the pointer to the "safe" area of the list before release the button, otherwise the list will take an action instantly, I mean it will switch to the tab which is currently under the pointer. This is related to quantity of opened tabs. When list is short enough, then it is rendered just under the menu item "Window", but in my case I have 3 screens of that list, therefore it cover the menu item "Window" and expands from top to bottom of my screen. When I deploy precaution steps as describes above, I can operate the list as expected.

Allow bookmark page details to be shown in horizontal

An option to show the number of open tabs, for example how this extension does.
Tab Counter - Firefox <---> Chrome Tab Counter -
@Pesala Chrome does it perfectly. Install Vivaldi standalones at the moment helps but if i could do it in the same installation is better. Sometimes some friends come to use my pc. Having a password to access my main profile and letting another one no password, like a "guest profile", would great.
@EmilEichhoernchen @g_bartsch "The Great Suspender" extension does it, at the moment it helps. I would like this option built-in.
-
Disabled Website JavaScript should not affect User-script & Extension
Not sure why this is not a default behavior, but can it be done in Vivaldi?
-
An option to move the Speaker Icon to the right and having it alongside website's favicon.
-
Auto-delete history when closing Vivaldi
Simply adding this as an option to the menu when hitting Ctrl+Shift+Del would do the trick and would allow to customize what gets deleted on a regular basis.
Or as an alternative: emptying/deleting in given intervals (e.g. once a week, once a month, etc.). -

it's already possible settings –> Privacy –> choose from the dropdown (day, week, month, 3 months, 6 months, year)

Crooked path, I think...
You are the one who requested thumbnails for bookmarks. If you set up the root folder of your bookmarks as the speed dial folder, then all of them will have thumbnails. No problem if you only have a dozen folders and a few hundred bookmarks, but it is not very practical with a deeply nested bookmark tree and thousands of bookmarks. Neither is it practical to generate thumbnails for thousands of bookmarks. Still, if that's what you want, try it and see why we think it's not such a great idea.

@ahoj1234 Thanks a lot! "History" probably wasn't the right word; I was rather thinking about cache, cookies, geoinformation etc. as well and not just visited websites. I have only the German version installed. There it is called "Browserdaten löschen" (Delete browser history).
