No saved passwords for Basic HTTP Authentication
-
Do I need to activate some hidden feature, or Vivaldi doesn't support saving passwords when Basic HTTP Authentication (via .htaccess file) is used?
All the website passwords are properly saved in Vivaldi, but can't get any Basic HTTP Authentication login to be saved...

Don't know why, but it doesn't work for me (1.6.689.40). Like I said, form passwords get saved fine. No matter how many times I enter login details, they are "saved" for current session only. Once Vivaldi is re-opened, the same window appears again - https://s1.postimg.org/3r98ezmen/login.png
And when I start typing, no previously saved login credentials are shown.

SSL is valid. But since you mentioned insecure connections... if I would use HTTP (not HTTPS) for basic auth, does it mean Vivaldi would NOT store login credentials anyways? Opera does that, so I'm interesting if Vivaldi works the same way.
