How to stop email notification?
-
I'm not sure whether this is the right place to ask, but . . .
Recently the Vivaldi blog is moved to https://vivaldi.com/blog/ . I posted a few comments and since then I keep receiving email updates when somebody posts a comment to the thread.
So, my question is how to change the setting so that I receive email notifications only when somebody directly replies to my comments. If that is not possible, I'd just like to unsubscribe from the thread.
A related comment is that the vivaldi sites need a "help" menu on each webpage, which the user is supposed to click on whenever s/he as a technical question.

Hi, you can disable the notification per topic by going to the topic and select Not watching in the dropdown like in the picture shown:
If you never want to receive notification on topics you reply to you can change that in your settings by clicking your avatar at the top right corner, choose settings and uncheck the Watch topics you reply to
Right now there is no way to only receive notifications on direct replies but that's something we're looking into.

@isak Thank you for your help! But, I guess you are talking about this forum. What should you do for the blog topic, such as https://vivaldi.com/blog/vivaldis-blog-gets-a-new-look/ ?

@ryofurue we are actually using this forum as the commenting system on the blog so if you comment on the forums it will appear on the blog and vice versa.
To turn off notifications for that specific topic you can do that here:
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/14080/vivaldi-s-blog-gets-a-new-look/We are using two categories there Snapshots and Team Blog. You can find them here:

I've got it. Thanks!
But I hope you will eventually improve your blog interface in such a way that the watching/not watching switch is available on the blog side, too.
