sync for the new year Please!

Still have a crash after right-clicking link on history page

That 'allow loading of insecure content' toggle seems like a good one to add. I'm not sure if putting it right next to the bookmark button is such a good idea though, maybe under the site settings would be better (the menu you get when you click on the padlock).
Also, tab handling seems to be getting really smooth, good to see!
One bug I have noticed though is that when you drag a tab, and make a new window from it, it loses the appropriate colour and goes to the default colour.

Thank you.

Thank you for fixing VB-22597 - Default webpage zoom setting not respected in the first tab opened.
There is however a regression, new tabs opened by clicking on links no longer have the default zoom as per settings.
Also internal pages like vivaldi://about/ also do not have the default zoom as per settings.

I agree with you on the position of the button, but it would have to suffice for now : the badge menu (padlock, whatever) is still Chromium's one, and not Vivaldi's. So, at least until that menu is redone for Vivaldi, it's not easy to add something there, and much easier to have a button in the URL bar.
They are working on transforming each part that are still Chr's but it takes time

Thanks

Great! All you need is to fix the tab/tab stack being dragged to a window that already has tabs to be dragged to the exact place in between the tabs I place them in, not at the end of the tab bar. That, and the speed of opening new tabs/windows, and we'll have a browser that feels more like a modern browser!

Can't update Vivaldi again, locked by System process (ntoskrnl.exe).
Only thing that helps is to restart computer for it to release the lock.Windows 10 Pro x64 // Vivaldi 1.5.648.6 (Official Build) (32-bit)

Great improvements ! Tab handling is really getting smooth.
I see a new icon in the URL bar at the left of bookmark button. It seems to be for blocking unauthenticated sources but I can't see any difference by enable or disable it. Is it the beginning of an built-in adblocker ? -
It would be good to hide window if you are dragging last tab from window, like it is doing Opera.
-
Nice! Thank you very much!
Minor cosmetic issue: dragging the current page to the Bookmark Bar works fine but the little ribbon in the Address Bar doesn't turn red to show it's been bookmarked until the page is refreshed or you switch to another Tab and come back.

No macOS build
This is getting really painful for us, especially since all we can do is watch and wait from the sidelines. Are there any specific details that you can share? We're all here to help in any way that we can.

Yep, from my part tab dragging really seems responsive and working quite well so far.

Win 7 64, Viv 32
Still having intermittent extension trouble and/or URL box. Shut off extensions, re-installed , wrote companies etc. and still can't get Invisible hand to work on Amazon or Ebay.
Also I went to look at one tab went back to another and it added a url to end of other first,.TRying to install two different Linux distros can't even get tto in-stall screens loads Windows. Think I'll have to update laptop before long to many patches. But does what I want to do except some things.

Tab dragging really seems to be working well right now. No problems so far, and feels smooth and responsive like in other browsers. Many thanks for all the hardwork.
Anyone else getting immediate crashes when attempting to launch any Chrome apps from the app launcher? I've been getting those at least for the last two builds with a fresh profile. Is this not currently supported?

Some times launching from the chrome webstore seems to successfully open the app, but the links from the chrome app launcher generally cause a crash
