Well, it looks like the tab hibernation is working again, though I'll confirm it over time as I just started using it a few seconds ago.
I'm happy you guys fixed the tab loading bar, which on my theme is now light as it should be.
It looks like the tabs are slightly more rounded, though I don't think they're as rounded as they were in the first 1.3 snapshot.
The SD thumbnails still need to be fixed, so they're as rounded as well. I have my roundedness at 4px, which means that everything that's rounded should be rounded at 4px. It just doesn't look accurate in the tabs and SD thumbnails.
The address loading bar over the security logo thing that happened the last few snapshots is still a little weird.
It'd be great if the bottom tabs were rounded up, like sloped up, like they were in old Opera versions. Makes them look like tabs on a folder in real life, which is what they were meant for in the first place.
I hope all of the UI stuff gets fixed before the stable release.

Error
Manual installation accuses:
"The installer couldn't create a temporary directory. Please check for free disk space and permission to install software."I do have loads of gigabytes of free space on my SSD. Please, verify the installer for 64-bit for Win7+.
Windows 10 64-bits.
Edit: automatic update installs flawlessly.
Also, I know I'm beating up a dead horse here, but when are more columns options coming to the Speed Dial? Having only 6 is rather plain.

alt-enter in address bar still broken. back to chrome.

OMG I CAN'T USE VIVALDI ANYMORE NOW :0
-
Dear Vivaldi Team,
Tanx. Also, pleeeeeease make an option for disabling Auto-Check Updates. It will save me the mental illness for all future updates since Vivaldi is my main!
Checklist of my greedy desires:
 Disable Auto-Check Update
button on Speed Dials for safety assurance of sanity and computer parts- I thought I had more as I've listed them before, but I know in due time you all will put in the missing pieces.
Needed fixes:
:?: History to remain static when switching to other tabs (omits search and refreshes)
:?: Cookies search in Settings also refreshes, but I don't remember this happening before, only in latest build.Love you, have a great weekend. Stay safe.

I wish the search box would show the text that is entered in one tab when you switch to another tab. There is no reason why that has to be locked to 1 tab and should be an easy fix. It is super annoying going to another tab and your search text is missing.

Thanks for the end-of-week update.
Still broken: mouse wheel tab cycling.
Enjoy the weekend.
-
Thank you for the weekend fixes. Best regards all ..

Nevermind, hibernating tabs is still not perfect. I right clicked a tab with Facebook in it, and it only gave me "Hibernate Background Tabs", and no "Hibernate Tabs". Before you guys "fixed" this in the last snapshot, it was working perfectly. Now, it's behavior fluctuates.

As ever much appreciated, Vivaldi just keeps getting better and better.

Any plans for decoupling the "Open Link in New Tab (Over a Link)" gesture from the "New Tab" gesture? I don't see why these gestures are coupled in the first place.
-
Thank, guys!
BUG: When sorting the boorkmarks by name, address etc, the bookmarks shuffle with the folders.
Windows 10 64-bit
Vivaldi 1.3.544.25 32-bit -
Nice fixes, especially that detaching tab bug.
I did come across something this week, i'm not sure if it's a bug, or intended behaviour, but if i'm using the address bar to search for something, say from an API, my intent would be to type "Namespace.ClassName" and press return to search.
But without a search nickname, vivaldi seems to think that '.ClassName' is a TLD and tries to load that page directly "http://Namespace.ClassName". Is that intended?

I am very pleased to have the commands Scroll Page to Top, and Scroll Page to Bottom, which can now be assigned to mouse gestures. (I use GestureUp and GestureDown for these commands, which I use very frequently.
One thing I noticed, however, is that these commands do not work in Vivaldi pages like the Browsing History and Bookmarks Manager. A trivial issue, but I thought it worth mentioning.
I now use Vivaldi more than Opera 12.17, but I still need Opera for my email. When I can transfer all of my mail accounts to Vivaldi, I may finally be ready to switch to Vivaldi, without needing to open Opera first every time I start up Windows 10. I am already using Vivaldi for my Web mail accounts.
