Snapshot 1.3.501.6 - Customizable UI themes
-
Today we are excited to open up a major new avenue for customization, by letting you make your own themes and completely change the appearance of Vivaldi.
-
I love that we included a Linux themed, theme by default. Great for people on vanilla Ubuntu!
-
Love it!
-
does that in any way can make my browser slower?
-
Enjoy people.
-
No it should not. The UI is just colored via CSS. In fact it already was before. Now we just made it easier to change.
-
That is something that it would be nice to get feedback on. It does things differently. In our internal testing UI performance is unchanged.
-
WOW, I love it.
-
Insert Note into editable fields (VB-7411)
woooh! finally! great! Now would be great if the context menus / bookmark bar dropdown folders has the same kind of integration with themes
-
Guys, you again forget Emulation tab in Developer Tools
It happen each release and apper in next release only if i remind you -
I think that the default background color of Speed Dial should use a color from the theme.
-
Don't try this at home
-
We are looking into ways to give you more control over the selection. Entering hex codes seem to be in big demand, so don't be surprised if that shows up in a later build.
-
We are considering merging Speed Dial styling with themes. Any thoughts on that?
-
WHHYYYYYY!!!!!
-
Just so you know, the color picker on Linux is really bad, right, but allow to enter the color hex value
-
Quite nice !
Just to tell you that the rounded corners thing is still quite in its infancy. Of course it will evolve and, I hope, with more customizability -
I would like the color of the Speed Dial to be the same as the color of the address bar. But maybe some users may want to customize more their Speed Dials.
-
Wow, just wow! Considering it a first step it's already working really great! (now if only I could change the order of my web panels…) Thanks, guys!
-
Thanks for the build, the color customization seems really cool!
Would it be possible to fix the History-page to work with Ctrl-click + middle mouse button? Currently you can't open the history entries (links) in a background tab via either shortcut, which seems really inconsistent considering Ctrl-click + MMB work on both the Speed Dial and Bookmarks page but not on the History page..
I don't know if an issue about this exists yet, so i went ahead and reported it as VB-18314.
