Hello! What are statuses of following bugs?
VB-80654 (Newlines in event description added in Vivaldi are being shown as escape sequences) - BTW, sometimes I can't reproduce it (and sometimes I can)
VB-80595 (Closing Calendar tab using middle-click creates new event)
VB-80547 (Impossible remove task-flag after clicking "Is a task")
VB-80546 (Pressing ctrl + backspace stops adding an event)
VB-79751 (Page can open on different tab than user intended)
VB-28940 (Losing focus in addressbar when webpage makes redirect)
Thank you and have a nice day!
Thanks everyone for sharing your requests!
As we just released Vivaldi 1.8
it's time to close this thread and open a new one for our next release. I will share your requests internally so that the developers team can look into them and add some of them to their list.
@jjm It already works for me without setting any shortcuts for next/previous tab.

That’s the ID of browser.html, which loads Vivaldi’s user interface. See here ⇒ vivaldi://inspect/#apps
@Pesala I know about the issue with IDNs, and the Vivaldi devs' stance. Making it behave like it is in literally any major browser might introduce a security issue, but not fixing it raises another security issue for anyone actually using IDNs (i.e., non-English speaking people), as it is quite impossible to distinguish between different IDNs when they are punycoded.
You don't even have to bother about switching a single letter to a similarly looking Unicode: you can switch the whole domain to a completely different domain, and nobody will notice.
Potted Ham and Tomatoes
Take ½ lb. of cold ham, 4 large tomatoes, 2 oz. butter, 2 eggs, and seasoning.
Skin and cut up the tomatoes, stew with the butter until tender. Mince ham very finely, add to other ingredients, and boil a few minutes. Beat up eggs, add gradually into the paste, keep boiling, and stir until it thickens. Season with pepper and salt, and pot in the usual way. If covered with mutton dripping it will keep several weeks.
