Guys, we have an entire forum for modifications now. I'm going to lock this thread so it doesn't grow any further. It's a huge collection of totally unrelated things that no user will ever be able to search for. Please start new threads for each modification from now on. 😉
Once again there's no option to add or delete (not that I wanted to) identities in the old mail interface. Both the plus sign and the gear sign are missing from the identity tab.
And BTW there's still no identity tab in the new webmail interface after all these years.
@srart said in Sync is here, help us test it – Vivaldi browser Snapshot 1.14.1030.3:
Guess who had it enabled.
Yes, you should know what you do with the flags. 😉
If my Vivaldi does strange things while testing i reset the flags first, then as last remedy reset the profile.
@mossman Necro-bumping the topic to say "hello from a ten year old netbook now happily running Q4OS"!!!
I got hold of an old 2GB memory card a couple of weeks ago (doubled the capacity) and installed a new Linux yesterday... Of all the distros I selected (lightweight, 32 bit...) Q4OS was the only currently maintained one which worked with the WiFi card straight out of the box (I spent most of Saturday trying and failing to get stock Debian to switch WiFi on...). I have to say that with KDE Plasma it's a pretty slick interface... and works much better than the Lubuntu I had installed a couple of years ago; better power management (fan speed actually changing, getting much longer life out of the battery - currently recalibrating as it's been stuck at 8% for about the last hour); hassle-free connection of Windows network drives etc.
I'm actually looking forward to using this when travelling again!
!!! This thread is not a bug report page. !!!
You can discuss separate bugs in a own thread (not all bugs in one!) or in the thread of the related browser version or OS.
You can report bug to Vivaldi Technologies.
How to do a bugreport for Vivaldi
Report every bug seperately at https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/
Describe the issue as precise as you can.
If you use any extensions please give information which ones you use.
If you have a URL or a own testpage which can checked, add it to the bugreport.
If you have own testcase files (HTML, CSS, JS etc.) add them to the confirmation mail you get after report.
If you have a screenrecording video, you can attach it to give the developers a hint how this might happen or look like.
You will get a bug confirmation mail and in a reply to this mail you can add more information and files as attachments for the testers and bug tracking team.
Thanks in advance for helping us to make Vivaldi better!
I must apologize for not replying earlier but I have only just discovered (= taken the trouble to look for and find) this page.
Your remarks of a year ago are now, a year later (obviously) much appreciated.
Let's split the requests from old and new forum!
Therefore I'm closing this topic and will move the most recent discussions concerning new forum to this topic: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/11983/feature-requests-for-vivaldi-s-new-forum
See you there! 🙂
More about frozen tabs: I can move them, I can mute them (tho no sound is playing cuz no page content is loaded) and I can hibernate them.
As it turns out, hibernating works, and hibernation prompts the tab to refresh on un-hibernation which fixes the issue. It's almost as if the tab was hibernated, but not marked by the browser as so.
Could you guys please add "Add Page to Bookmarks" option to the right click menu when we are in a page? It's handy for users that don't use address bar.
I like this.
And would be cool to indicate somehow the directory hierarchy when we choose where save the bookmark in its dropdown menu. The folders could be indicated as bold font or another visual way, to distinguish from bookmarks themselves.
Isn’t this the way it is currently? Right now in the drop-down only folders are listed? I'd love it if they were nested, or listed alphabetically, or auto-complete worked on them to make it much easier to find the proper place to place the bookmark.
