Took me 3 tries to get into Google Drive this a.m.
Only once in Slimjet, which came in almost instantly there.
Btw, for some reason, have to log back in here every time restart browser.
Hi, responding to the request to comment if flash doesn't work after downloading my distro's Pepperflash. I just started using Debian testing, and I installed the browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash package. That puts the .so at /usr/lib/browser-plugin-freshplayer-pepperflash/libfreshwrapper-flashplayer.so. Many thanks.
I looked in forums, blogs, and help, and I can't find an info for that command at all. Help???
Also in clear private data where can a person find specific definitions about each? I know several but some I have no idea what some delete. Thanks
I got the issue fixed, I can now log in and out from blog and forum. To be sure I've also cleaned again vivaldi.net cookies and stored password, reset new password and now I can log in/out from both blog and forum.
Thanks Vivaldi team.
Recently snapshot does not keep the name of a YouTube download. Instead it shows "videoplayback.mp4." Is there a way to get it to use the video name? I am using "fastesttube.kwizzu.com/chrome.html." Thanks, David
Do you have open bookmarks with single click on or off? With it 'off' I can shift-click a contiguous group of bookmarks and using ctr-click I can select multiple random spaced bookmarks. W10 64bit V 32bit.
I could not help but notice - and I figured that I should put some credit where credit is due - that tab dropping works pretty well Cross Browser.
I can drag my tab over from Vivaldi to Chrome and it works. Well, it will lose session data etc, but that is clearly to be expected. And I can drag it over to Firefox, and it works. I can drag it over to Opera 42, and it works. Sweet. If I drag it over to Opera 12, it will almost work - it shows a line between tabs where it'd be put, but it doesn't actually open a tab there.
It doesn't work the other way. You can't drag a Chrome tab to another browser, not even the Opera clone. You can't drag a Firefox tab to another browser. And you can't drag a Opera 42 tab to another browser.
Here's the funny little oddbit. Revisiting the old turf, Opera 12 seems to have this feature. I can drag a tab from Opera 12 to Opera 42, or Chrome or Firefox, or Vivaldi, and it works. In that little, age-old browser-that-could.
And now it works in Vivaldi. You can really see where the heart of Opera went.
I'd like darker option for reader mode. Love the mode, but it's harder for me to focus on text with white background. Something like #111111 background with #f4f4f4 text would be a lot more pleasing to read for me.
@g_bartsch:
The tab-bar-stretching-when-closing-a-tab appears fixed in this snapshot. Thank you!
I lied. In snapshot 1.5.644.7 the behavior is still happening. I don't know why it appeared gone except I have a lot more tabs open now.
Big time. And I wish it were smooth, fluid zooming when pinching on the touch pad. Only Edge zooms smoothly and super responsively by gesture. FF, Chrome, Opera just don't. Incidentally, Edge is also better for two-finger scrolling. Don't know why.
With this build I'm experiencing freezes once in a while (today: four). I hadn't that issue for a very long time. Please take a look at this. Thank you.
