I already have Zoom in address bar
I completely refuse to use nasty proprietary software like that. Shame on you!

Well, not by me, anyway. I am a staunch pacifist. I would be more than happy though to participate in a sarcasm-off.

accordion-style stacks ... doesn't work very well with vertical tabs yet
This surprised me. Afaict they seem to work quite excellently in my rhs tab column. In what way are they problematic for you?
Opening mail DB - This may take time if upgrades are due...
Waiting for 4 hours+ now. Is it possible that downgrading corrupts something the data base or do I just have to be more patient?
Utility Network Service is rather active, but I cannot identify whether this is what actually is used to sort mails.
It seems that downgrading M3 is just not possible.

Just started up the latest SnapShot to realize that the additional search field has been dumped.
Show in Address Bar
I now need to additionally adjust the cursor position
Actually, you do not. Just click the magnifying glass and start typing. Focus is already in the Search field. The button save space, with one more click needed if you want to change the search engine.
I also prefer the line between the toolbar and the panel, but aesthetics is a personal thing. Ask in the Modding Vivaldi and maybe someone can tell you how to restore it.

Uninstallation is not working on Windows 10.
Fixed now in new Snapshot. https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/61885/windows-uninstall-fixed-vivaldi-browser-snapshot-2312-13/
@Pesala I just found this after filing bug VB-78992 where the pin entry fields on disney+ are filled by entering numbers AND at the same time the single key shortcut is triggered.
There is also references of shortcuts triggered in edit fields, in particular in the Confluence Wiki editor but also elsewhere. Hard to reproduce these things when they happen occasionally or only when specific conditions are met. With a little luck the disney+ case is descriptive, at least here it happened every single time that I entered a number that the same thing would happen with single key shortcuts enabled.

@sjudenim This is a Snapshot, we are all testers, and this new "add bookmark" UI is still VERY new code; I doubt that it is complete. I never want to be too quick to judge any change that the Vivaldi team makes because even if I have negative first impressions, there will almost always also be positive aspects to it as well. I will use it for a while before sharing what I like, what I do not like, and how I feel that things could be improved, and I am also confident that the Vivaldi team will take all of our collective, constructive feedback into consideration and make things even better.
I'm not sure I understand your response. You've made multiple criticisms already of the new "add bookmark" UI and it's functioning, which I agree with. Hoping for certain functions, features and bug stomping are done is why we have to comment on Snapshots. Of course some things still make it to Stable regardless but saying nothing would achieve nothing.
More about frozen tabs: I can move them, I can mute them (tho no sound is playing cuz no page content is loaded) and I can hibernate them.
As it turns out, hibernating works, and hibernation prompts the tab to refresh on un-hibernation which fixes the issue. It's almost as if the tab was hibernated, but not marked by the browser as so.
