@mossman. Yes I do, but thanks nonetheless. I just don't understand why these alleged "improvements" must be turned off instead of letting people know that the option is available for them to turn on. Will be interested to see if it defaults back with the next upgrade, which will be even more irritating.
To be fair this particular thing isn't an "improvement" since it's been part of the Vivaldi UI design since before version 1.0.
@Eggcorn No, indeed it's not. But the post is from 2015.
Due to the fact it was related to the promotion of Vivaldi by using Vivaldi banner (I thought it was what you were looking for), I gave you the link where the banners are to be found.
В Русском сегменте Интернета присутствует проблема с отображением Картинок на многих сайтах я еще не разобрался из за чего но возможно из за модуля WidevineCdm .
In the Russian segment of the Internet, there is a problem with displaying Pictures on many sites, I have not yet figured out why, but perhaps because of the WidevineCdm module.
I have used dozens of browsers in the past and just recently left Brave browser. Vivaldi is superior to all browsers in so many ways. I can safely say that Vivaldi is my browser of choice and of my business.
Hey guys, thanks for the update.
Especially the way the thumbnails for the stacked tabs are displayed is nice and more useable for the power user with lots of tabs. However there is no way to distinguish hibernated tabs among the stacked tabs.
Can we have dimmed icons for the hibernated tabs inside a tab stack just like typical tabs? Or at least use a slightly different background color for those. Anything to help us distinguish the hibernated tabs from others.
I've found bookmarklets to work by typing in the name in the top bar whilst on a website and hitting it's suggestion...
I've just come from Opera...
Would be nice to have gifs quiet in the Google serps...alot of data lost there.!
Many thanks to the Vivaldi team for this magnificent Browser, that has become essential and irreplaceable for me since its first version. Not only for its great functionality, but also for being the most democratic in a community just as incomparable.
All my best wishes for 2021 to all of you.
Hello! I've been trying to use my university mail on a Web Panel but I can't stay logged in (my username and password are already saved when I open it in a normal tab) - am I missing something? Has anyone experienced the same kind of issue?
BTW I started using Vivaldi this week and I'm totally in love with it! Best browser ever 🙂
@dmg in more complex web pages, the native screenshot doesn't work at all. If important I revert to copying the page text into Word, manually copying & pasting each image, then printing the whole as a PDF. Very tedious. Would save so much time if Tools > Capture > Page-to-file was 100% reliable. On the other hand if ctrl+P Printing to PDF were 100% reliable I wouldn't be using Page-to-file anyway.
@Eggcorn And you are accusing someone who has investigated, solved and cured actual, real conspiracies of being "paranoid." I'm probably the least paranoid person you have ever dealt with, as I deal in provable facts, and weigh actual evidence prior to making decisions.
