You could use the time filters at the top right. Though even that's not a perfect solution, as the "Month" one also has its share of locked topics.
I'm guessing by default it uses "popular of all time", which results in many old topics being included. Setting the default to "Day" or "week" seems more sensible.
hello paul1149 and hello everyone
the first responses hinted at per user filtering, so why make it into a silliness? It is amusing that the system accepts blocking an entire post while we will not tolerate censoring of a few words instead. The benefit of the spam filterrs is difficult to acknowledge while it is mostly unseen by the forum users; that is the point correct? truly it does a bulk of a big job. filtering this internet stuff where we gatherr to share things about internet while it does not filter simplistic curse words.
sgunhouse came in quite put-off with some exasperations concerning the spam filters. Use the url tags in the editor toolbar. Reach out to touch the tip of the spear paul1149.. try and try again. Your acuity for composing combined with the talent of the large choir of adept Moderators here at vivaldi community will allow us to read Everything that paul1149 wishes to share. we are assuring ourselves now that we will not miss anything that you wish to share.
@rojaviv It might help, but in my experience on a forum that does have this feature, many users still post duplicate threads. For find previous feature requests, copy this link https://forum.vivaldi.net/search?in=titles&categories%5B%5D=113&sortBy=relevance&sortDirection=desc&showAs=posts&term=%S and add it as a custom search engine.
Modify the code if you want to save a different advanced search option as a search engine. (Just do the search, and copy the URL).
Don't mean to raise the dead, but this issue still exists. Stumbled across the bug by chance a year later. And yet the fix seems so simple, change "favourites" to "bookmarks" in the relevant href link in the profile page.
@marko-indaco Yeah, I colored the chevrons instead of the background in the first theme I made for Vivaldi. But over time I came to realise that the background variant has far better usability, because your votes are far more visible and can't be overlooked.
