Don't mean to raise the dead, but this issue still exists. Stumbled across the bug by chance a year later. And yet the fix seems so simple, change "favourites" to "bookmarks" in the relevant href link in the profile page.
@marko-indaco Yeah, I colored the chevrons instead of the background in the first theme I made for Vivaldi. But over time I came to realise that the background variant has far better usability, because your votes are far more visible and can't be overlooked.
Ok, I think I know what's going on. I was able to load an icon from version 4.7. The problem is that they present icons as free on their website, which aren't free. They dropped the fa class in favor of fas, fab, far and fal, and only fas and fab are free. But if you select to show only free icons, far and fal icons will still show. A pretty big mess up on their end.
Well, I will continue testing this. Not 100% sure about all of this.

@lonm said in Uploaded GIF image disappeared:
Works for me.
Yes, because it is very small and has not be be resized by forum software. :P
In our Mod chat we found out:
A larger picture will be renamed after upload f.ex 25176184668-very-big-px-resized.gif and this breaks. If i edit the post and rename picture to 25176184668-very-big-px all is fine.

Unsure if others are experiencing he same issues, but I'm running:
Vivaldi 1.14.1077.41 (Stable channel) (32-bit)
Checked to see if it were an issue on my side. Deleted cookies and disabled AV, FW, and Application Guard softwares. Issue persists.
I wonder if a user already had a cookie set in Vivaldi, for several days or more, that they wouldn't be affected. I do not need to be logged into Vivaldi forums while using the Vivaldi browser to see the message. Chrome, Firefox, and Opera can connect to https://forum.vivaldi.net without issue.
So, I wonder if it's an SSL authentication bug with the Vivaldi browser.
The forum doesn't update the overview of the last posted message to a topic in all instances.
probably that's the point. I checked this morning the view and when I openend the specific thread, there was a post, which corresponded with sorting order at the overview.
what's funny: when I went back from the thread to the overview, the last date collumn changed the time to the correct time of the sorting order (hard to describe but I think you know what I mean)
