Well, at least that the moderators and admins would know about it.
If I'm not mistaken, for us ordinary users, it's easier to "discover" it in our usual browsing. Moderators, for example, if they are not informed by other means, it is more difficult to "discover" through their usual browsing. Nothing changed for them.
@burnout426 Yeah, but why do you need an email. If you access the site with login, you get notifications of any new posts that have been made of a thread you are watching -- this links exactly to the new post, not the beginning of a thread.
@Gwen-Dragon Well, you got confused there. There is always a link to the forum on vivaldi.net. But there is only a link to the community page on vivaldi.com. But all links from vivaldi.com (browser/features/newsroom/blog) are available on vivaldi.net and forum.vivaldi.net. That's inconsistent. Moreover in the forum implementation both the Logo and the Browser Link, link to the same place -- vivaldi.com, which is a redundancy. Especially painful because with this much wasted screen space the header begins to wrap very soon, at which point the search is disabled.
@gwen-dragon No, no! I solved the problem by clearing the profile, I should have thought this before posting, anyway maybe this doubt I could serve for some future user ...
Thank you, your question / tip is valuable, to me and others who may have similar problems.
