@guigirl To earlier question about btrfs - I initially set up this machine when btrfs was not yet a thing and I thought 24GB was more than enough for root partition, so ext4. Over the years I expanded it to 30GB but, of course, it feels cramped there. If I go without updates for a week there is not enough space for zypper to download them into default directory on root, but I got around that by setting zypper cache somewhere else.
In this way I'm extracting as much time as possible from my install with as little hassle as possible. All maintenance for me is clicking on update notification - I try to avoid even zypper dup.
Keeping it on topic - Vivaldi in openSUSE repo provided peace of mind for many years now. I used to have V forums on startpage speeddial but then I realized that I never need to go there so I replaced it with something else.
And then this problem popped up and I found myself fixing things again. How long did it take? Two days, and it went much faster after went to the forum for help. Altogether not a bad trade off for four years of doing nothing.
This is a testament to Vivaldi's maturity and reliability.
I was spoiled not only by TW but by ChromeOS, too. That was the ultimate hassle free environment for me. Not even clicking on updates is necessary. Windows, on the other hand...
