@rahulraoniar Which Vivaldi version? Which LaTex code is this to reproduce? I used with LaTex code from http://mally.stanford.edu/~sr/computing/latex-example.html and could generate PDF on Overleaf.

@fotjon One can display the search field as a button to offer some privacy. The search term is not visible until the search is opened. Settings, Search, Search Field Display Show as a Button

@vongalin - that's a very particular setup you have. Thanks for describing it; certainly something to ponder. Maybe you got the idea for doing this from a spy movie CCleaner does a reasonable job of cleaning up our browsers' traces, as long as you remove the (paid for?) cookie exceptions in the options. All the rest it can nuke too, I believe. Pay attention to its other settings that try to sneak it in as a TSR. BTW, the European Union is in the throes of mandating global privacy protection in websites that visit the EU, that is, every website in existence. There are penalties that would bankrupt most website holders in an instant, so, like 'We are storing cookies' popups, and unlike the ignored 'Do not track' setting, this should have a marked effect on privacy on the internet. If that is your concern.

Update Vivaldi to latest version Try Standalone. You can test with a 5.3 Snapshot Standalone installation if that solves the issue, this will not affect your original 5.2 Stable profile. Update your Windows to get latest SSL root certificates. Tell us which URL cause such trouble

@LorenAmelang, setting it to Forever seems to have done it, yes. Or, potentially something else. I guess I'll never know for sure, but... well, I have three days worth in my history now, so that's good at least?

I already created a bugreport for it since previous snapshot. Summary: Selecting suggestions from address field with mouse click refreshes url & suggestions list instead of actually selecting and using that suggestion Key: VB-89178 The workaround for now is to select with keyboard or at least press tab before mouse clicking on the entry you want to select, seems like the dropdown list must be focused first.
