In Vivaldi, Ctrl+Click on the reload icon will duplicate the current tab as I'm sure you've noticed. This seems intentional and is consistent with how Firefox does it. Shift+Click should do a hard reload, but currently this is broken (VB-52238 Shift+↻ does not force a reload without cache)

If you're developing, learn to use the force reload keyboard shortcuts, this should be common knowledge for all developers:

The issue should be fixed in Vivaldi 5.1, which just got released. 🙂

How are you setting up the background image? Did you create a custom theme or edited one of the default ones? It's recommended to use a custom theme to avoid losing any changes made to the default ones, which may be updated.

That is unusual and it looks like an isolated case - it's probably caused by some system/configuration error or a 3rd-party software (or something else). Please perform basic troubleshooting.

@wildente oh thanks bro , now i made it looks like what i want , i put all the bookmarks to a folder then put the folder to speed dial and the panel of bookmarks is opened on the left
going now to delete visual bookmarks addon

@pathduck I've followed your advice and copied my Default profile to the User Data of that standalone Vivaldi I installed. The delay is no more. Thank you for your advice. I wasn't aware I can safely wipe everything from that folder ( except Default of course )
I'll keep testing it and report back if this happens again.

@realamey The mail client (mail & feeds) only shows in one application window (the first you open). Restarting Vivaldi may solve the issue.

Hi, I guess it is because Vivaldi 5.0 is still Chromium 96 but the last snapshot is at 98.
I never used Amazon Prime Music a short test work fine here on Vivaldi 5.1.2567.31 / Chrome 98.0.4758.88.
Since the first release candidate for 5.1 is published today you may have to wait a few days for the next stable 5.1 build.
Please test again then.

No, not an issue posting here. . . the same words are fine, so it confirms to me that Vivaldi is not the issue and neither is Windows 10.

Might have to drop Sekur if they can't or won't identify and fix their issue. Shame, as I really like their security features.

I've been trying to get this bug confirmed for ages but it seems that it's always "Cannot reproduce" on the testers' end even though it's been reported by various users in the forum already. 😞 If someone has a better description than "Set tab to periodic reload (especially with a small reload interval), set computer to sleep/hibernate for hours, awaken computer and see page reloading every few seconds", it would be really appreciated if that user could submit a bug report to get it replicated by the testers...

Check vivaldi://sync-internals on Android for error messages
I restart the Android device as sync was stuck some time ago.

I will also mention that I hated to do so, but I started using other Chrome based browsers, like Edge, side by side with Vivaldi, so that business critical tabs wouldn't be frozen during business hours, and if Edge can handle my current resource usage but 2022 Vivaldi cannot, that ruled out resource usage as the only cause, to me. Still, I'm happy to help track it down if that is a component of cause.

@luetage I have just one account with different profiles work home etc. so sync is OK. Maybe next to sync account picture what profile it is would be helpful.
