@DTreserve said in Address bar height and empty space: P.S. Is 32px the thinnest? The rule for 32px is to make sure the window control buttons don't overflow the container element. Actually it would be better to make the buttons inherit the height from the parent.: height: inherit !important;` And then set the height value of the .toolbar-mainbar instead. Once you start going below 30px it will cause the url field to overflow instead. And other elements will start to look bad. And going even thinner will lead to having to force a font-size change in the url field etc etc. You can go how deep you want down the rabbit hole and tear your hair out over it as much you like

said in Netflix not working: @yngve Hi there, thanks for the reply. The issue is not so much that the video in Netflix can't play out, but is more like what 'tjukken' the user above had exactly described. Apparently when you hover to any listing videos and click on "Episodes & Info" it will pop out an window to show you the movie content and episodes and the preview-video inside will be automatically played. Only if one click on the episode video, it will play the entire video of it. Else is only partial of it auto-played by the platform system. However if you choose to hover back your mouse cursor back to Netflix main listing video page without playing the actual video of the listing that one chooses earlier on, the background scrolling bar will totally disappear and you cannot scroll up or down to navigate the page. It will be frozen and you can still hear the sound of the preview-video that was played earlier on when I've clicked into the "Episodes & Info" video listing. I guess is kind of hard for you to visualize the issue without going into the website to see it yourself unless one of your team members has an active Netflix subscription plan, which this issue can be easily replicate. Hopefully the next Vivaldi update release would resolve this issue soon. Else it will quite an annoyance for anyone who uses Vivaldi browser when navigating Netflix. @yngve & Vivaldi Support The latest release today has finally fixed the issue in Netflix. Everything goes well for the time being. Thanks for the speedy support and updates! Cheers!

@RasheedHolland Yes, I checked all of your links and they are heavy, watching Yahoo Finance also take one of my CPU cores 100% but I am on Linux at moment and don't want boot Windows again. I would create a workspace with this pages and hibernate it if not on use. These are my most used menu entries. [image: 1752064219864-4935d918-954f-469d-8ede-54d5b620297c-image.png]

@AllanH said in Vivaldi's adblocker getting detected?: I posted my filter lists enabled for both Vivaldi and uBlock at https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/828232. The investing.com site didn't display any adblocker popup for me. I had thought that Vivaldi was really making progress with their AdBlocker, but SourceForge.net is now displaying ads after those ads were blocked using the latest Stable on May 29. I just noticed that filter lists automatically get updated on Vivaldi. And there isn't much to configure, you either enable or disable a list, but there is no fine tuning like with uBlock. Vivaldi's adblocker is way too basic. But I just think it's weird that the built-in adblocker gets detected while uBlock doesn't, I wonder if it has implemented some trick to fool adblocking detectors. If so, Vivaldi should get this too. I see no ads on SourceForge though, can you post some screenshots?

@AllanH said in VIVALDI STANDALONE BROKEN after the latest update: I have always located the Stable in \AppData\Local, but Vivaldi would not start for me. I had always used the "Run this program as an Administrator" option in the file properties, but after I disabled that option, Vivaldi did start. There is no need to change Vivaldi app property to elevate user rights. Vivaldi runs if you use Installer's Advanced → Install For the User.

@vivaldio9acx Check Vivaldi Taskmanager (Shift+Esc) which processes/extensions causing such high consumption. Check your security software for blocking/terminating processes. Reboot your Windows to get rid of lingering processes. Uninstall Vivaldi, download Installer and reinstall in case of a broken update.

Thank you so much, just another question about the latest version is it possible to bring back the titles in the new tab page menu for bookmarks, mail, history, calendar etc. I used to really like the text as well as the icon, but now it is just an icon. @Pesala said in Update deleted my custom tab context menu: Editing a single menu takes only a few minutes. It is not the end of the world. I regularly edit my menus and shortcuts as I experiment with different things. Your second sentence hints at why it doesn't take a few minutes. Via careful experiments I've settled on a menu that works for me. This alone already took longer than a few minutes. But more importantly, I don't remember all the menus/submenus/keyboard accelerators/custom icons! So I wouldn't be able to replicate it fully even in a few hours, I'd need to repeat those experiments - notice something is unergonomic when using it, then have dedicated time to come up with a better design and implement it, so again longer than a few minutes. If users have figured out how to edit the menus, then they already know how to fix it. If they need help, they can ask here and enhance their knowledge. Not really, to fix this I had to manually discover the changes in json needed to restore my custom names/order. This knowledge wasn't needed when I edited the menus originally, I used the built-in GUI. And asking here only did partial enhancing insufficient for the full fix, while many comments were just discouraging reporting issues.

@infin said in Logging in to Jotform.com crashes Vivaldi: When I visit Jotform.com and attempt to login, Vivaldi crashes every time. Having a crash means what? Vivaldi exiting or tab crash (with a black bird icon)? How do you login? With mail address, with Google or Microsoft?
