I still would like to see an option for changing the default behavior of opening a new tab from a link, but for those who are in the habit of "right-clicking" to open their tabs, the third option is "Open link in background tab".
Middle-click and Ctrl+click also open in background tab.
Thanks! I already love it. Feels like a Chrome: Professional Edition, if such a thing ever existed.
You know how the free offerings have limited functionality and harvest all of your personal data, so you go the paid route instead? Vivaldi is like that, except I didn't pay anything yet.. Considering buying an item of merchandise from the store to clear my conscience…
seen a prompt to install the new 1.0.435.42 version .. decided to use the other virtual sound card i had already configured with a maximum of 2 channels .. i simply set the windows mixer to use it as the default & installed the new version.
told my audio processing to use the sound card & audio began working.
i closed vivaldi & set the other virtual sound card as default & re-opened vivaldi then attempted to play some audio.
it didn't send audio to the sound card. then i told the windows mixer to use the sound card with 2 channels as default again (without closing vivaldi) & the audio began working again.
thus, it doesn't seem to be a problem with virtual audio cable - it seems to be a problem with a sound card setup to use more than 2 channels.
adding the wasapi command in the shortcut path didn't work either.
(i tested it by opening another browser & played some audio with it - if vivaldi's wasapi was working, the audio from the other browser wouldn't of played)
hope this helps somebody.
Please get yourself a copy of FastStone Capture.
Version 5.3 is free (see the link near the top of my page). Take a screen shot of the area of interest only, not the entire window, and save it as PNG, not JPG (unless it's a photo).
Thanks for suggestion! I downloaded something similar which I hope to get the job done
No. There is no library needed for Windows as both FLASH versions are "standard".
BTW have you verified you are using the PPAPI version of flash (and not NPAPI) ?
You say the acceleration flag was activated - did you try to deactivate it (turn it off) ?
Other than that, I can only think of site specific problems. Can you give some urls where you get the problem?
Sorry, just realised you said HTML5 and not Flash :S
Maybe you have encountered same problem as Dave-H?
I assumed it was HTML 5 related because in my linux installation on the about section, flash says (disabled) but the player from the site does work, as you can see on the picture bellow:

I find this issue in many websites, this is just an example:
'option 1' works on Linux
[attachment:2]h264 working Vivaldi Linux.png
but not on Windows
[attachment:3]h264 not working on windows.png
This is the same about section on Windows, even a newer snapshot doesn't seems to be working

Now how do I check the PPAPI flash version, I'm sorry for the nooby question but what does that mean? I can see some flags on the linux version referring to it but those are missing on Windows about version of Vivaldi, id does refer to pepper flash though. I'm a little confused, on Windows it does have flash enabled (idk if this is related a newer snapshot since it wasn't when I started this posts, or because I installed Chrome some time ago to watch the content it wouldn't load on Vivaldi)
So far, Linux flash says disabled but the content does work, WIndows says flash is enabled, the same page works on Chrome but does not on Vivaldi, I don't know what's missing so far x_x
Try to disable ublock and use this which is similiar (even in ram usage) for a while, so we can discover if is the ublock is the real culprit of this annoyance
For the dinosaur game, there was a chrome://flags strings, but I don't see it anymore o.O
