As nearly as I can tell, every feature request that was archived was a duplicate or was four or more years old and had fewer than ten upvotes. There were quite a few of these. No request that "hundreds" of users wanted was archived. Duplicates that had, say, 50 votes were shelved in favor of the copy of the request that had, say 200 votes. It would have been nice if it were possible to combine such threads, thereby getting all 250 votes under one thread, but the forum software would not support it.
The result is a much more on-point list of most-wanted requests, and much richer ground for Vivaldi developers to plow.
