However I encountered the following issue (in French):

Dans les réglages la modification des "heures visibles du jour" et la sélection/désélection" de l'option "masquer les heures non ouvrées" fige le navigateur et contraint d'arrêter systématiquement le processus via le gestionnaire des tâches, l'activité du processeur grimpant en flèche.

@DanielVPT97 , welcome to the community. Yes, Vivaldi has a huge amont of settings and tools, more than any other browser, that can be overhelming for some users. But one time customized to your like, you don't need to touch the settings anymore.
The tools and features of Vivaldi, well, there are a lot, but nobody needs all of these, but it gives you the security of having them at hand in case of need, without having to look for an extension and many times you will find functions and tools that are useful to you and where you did not know before that they are, like the translator, in your case.
Enjoy and experiment with Vivaldi and you'll soon find it essential.

No not overwhelming in the slightest,Obviously upon first usage i had a prolonged navigation around settings etc but once done to my satisfaction it's a case of set and forget it.

Any options i don't use i simply disable them.Speed of the browser is never affected so it's all systems go.
