@johnjames001 "Speed Dial" is nothing more than a specialized view of the bookmark folder that has been assigned "Speed Dial" status. Any/every bookmark folder is eligible for this status, assigned by context menu, and all of the bookmarks in such folders behave just as all bookmarks in all folders.

@OakdaleFTL I already created an album in Photos of the 3 pics I needed to attach to the email I was trying to send. But I never got anything to show up in the file picker when I was ready to attach them. Here is the initial file picker, with the "Pictures" folder displayed. All that's in there are library links, and the subfolder I created to export the images out of Photos to upload the traditional way. SS1.png Now the way it's supposed to work if you don't have regular image files to work with, is to point at the "Photos" media source at the bottom of the list on the left. The next screenshot shows this view. SS2.png As you can see it advises you to open the Photos app in order to get a list of pics to upload. Thing is, Photos is already open, and nothing ever shows up in that list. So clearly it's supposed to work, but doesn't. I suspect it's some dumb simple setting somewhere, but I cannot find it. What I'm afraid of is that it actually requires iCloud to work.

In 2679.3 standalone on Win64 I click icon on Status Bar to open Mail Status pane (with 'Recent' being much more useful now it's living up to its name) then click on 'Show Mail' button in that pane. Mail tab & panel open as expected but that Mail Status pane doesn't now auto-close and I need to manually switch focus. Anyone confirm? Intended behaviour? Comments?

@DoveVavide @vinczej @luetage @JacobDavis Hi, I'm wondering whether this is the issue [Mail] Feeds disappear from Feed Panel after restart when hiding feeds from the Mail Panel I addressed that after comments from the latest Snapshot (2669.3) A fix was push from my side on the 13th of May. Should therefore be fixed in the next Snapshot. In the meantime you can enable showing Feeds in the Mail Panel again and restart the browser. Everything should presumably be back to normal again

According to vivaldia-min.js, the music file is probably at assets/Audio/music1.ogg, but I am unsure of the exact file path of the audio, and anyway, it will depend on your OS.

I had the same problem, in the beginning I didn't mind but after a while it was very disturbing. Google extensions deleted (Google Keep & Post To Google Photos) and problem has been solved! Thank you guys!

The OP, @cmw208 is obviously a conservative (in the US political sense of the word) and is disappointed they include CNN, Huffington Post, etc., but not Fox News or some other conservative news source. Personally I'd consider Reuters fairly neutral, not sure about the Guardian. But they can easily remove any or all the included bookmarks and just add their own

Unfortunately, they come back 🙂 Since (Vivaldi Help): "When you log in or enable synchronisation of some data type, your local data is merged and re-associated with what exists on the server. This is done in a way that ensures you won’t lose any data." When I delete/move something at one device, it's deleted on server and on all online devices. But when I turn on device, that was offline during rearrangement, it uploads it local bookmarks (with deleted entries) to the server and to the all online devices. Because for the system it's like absolutely new bookmarks that need to be synchronized.

If the bookmarks are in folders on the bookmarks toolbar, you can simply drag and drop them to move them.

I found this on the forum (never hesitate to use the Search on the forum (possibility to find the solution on your own + easier for others to find what they are looking for + possibility to have all relevant information under one post instead of multiple ones)) : Links open in different window than the activated one Set Profile to Open Links in (from external Applications) I hope this helps.

So the boxes have to be checked for Speed Dial and Bookmark Bar. I guess my attempts to make the main Bookmarks menu more compact with fewer subdirectories was pointless. Thanks. I have the bookmarks bar the way I want it now.

It's strange because so many folders from my last export are missing. I didn't delete them all. Unless, sometimes I notice Vivaldi will have all my bookmarks from another computer or session under a single bookmark folder. I'll expand some unexpected single folder and it will be the entire book mark directory structure found in another instance of vivaldi. It's unclear to me when they all got removed. Or how many are missing. I went to search for a bookmark about hard drives I know I saved in the last few months but i can't find it. Maybe the Vivaldi online account could get a bookmark history / trash. That you have to empty that trash seperately. When you have a ton of bookmarks and folders under trash it can be confusing...so you end up deleting them all....bc they can't be hidden. Book mark versioning?

@jumpsq I suspect it has to with the fact that in chrome (and so vivaldi as well), it tries to do as much as possible in-memory. This means when a tab is closed there's no way to recover it, unlike in regular mode where it may be cached on disk. I can't say if this is right or wrong behaviour, but I suspect that's the technical reason for it.

@gumdrop Go to the address: chrome://settings/handlers and remove the assigned site. Then go to Gmail and accept it as default handler again.
