@guigirl Have u forgot about the cursed autoupdate that most Vivaldi user have to put up with? Over 90% of Vivaldi user are not Linux elites & unreliable autoupdate is a big problem, even if we choose to disabled it we could still end up with the latest upgrade upon startup!

Vivaldi do have snapshots & RC to filter out most of the bug & problem before doing a stable release, but recently it seem more & more bugs end up in the stable version. I think v team need to give more time during RC to boost the QA before pushing out a stable version hastily.

Unfortunately normal users will never find internal chromium settings...
And they shouldn't.

But both does not set the Speed Dial to a safe mode. You can always remove entries in bookmarks.

I would like to have a Speed Dial which can not be changed like a so called Kiosk Mode.

Thank you, after several trials I have deleted all profile data after uninstalling Vivaldi. Afterwards I recognized that the Vivaldi updater was still showing up. I also deleted it separately. Now the latest update is working.

Now I think about it, I'm less understanding about mail only existing in one window. What you do is have one subsystem prepare the data, then have multiple subsystems (1 per window) pull from it. I can think of examples of this going back to a game in 1992, but to be fair, it is one of those concepts which seems impossible until you know how it's done.

And now also fixed in stable 5.2.2623.26.

This has got me a few times. Only the most recent time a few weeks ago i thought about looking in the trash, and conveniently it shows "window with xx tabs".

It would be nice if Vivaldi could prompt you if more than one window was closed the last time. If nothing else it makes it more obvious that was the case, and then the user can find them in the trash.

But a prompt like this would be even better:

Multiple windows were open last time Vivaldi was closed, which would you like open?

This has basically been happening all year for me. Super annoying.
