@derday said in Unable to delete RSS feeds:
ted feeds reappeared with the last snapshot-update, but I could delete them via contextmenu at the feed panel. did
Yes, I already tried but it does not work
For a flash it's shown a normal XML file, but a second fraction later...blank.
Overload feed reader?
I work with a lot of feeds, and the half aren't correct marked (compatibility problems), but this is first time a feed contains 4935 lines ¡¡huge!!.

Ask to author if is working right the RSS provider
@shion Devs do come around on occasion. It's just that people shouldn't expect that just because they write here, that devs will read what they ask. Otherwise they'd have no time left for browser development 😛
As for the feature requests, other users can vote for them. Some of the things you requested have actually already been asked before. I suggest you search through the Feed reader section and vote for the requests that you are interested in.
Again, it's no guarantee that the devs will see it, or even that it'll get implemented, but a request with a lot of votes will likely be more visible and increase its chances of being implemented...
@petelemer What’s the issue and why is this posted in feed reader? Operating system should make no difference, pictures or a more thorough explanation would be helpful.
@WildEnte Good to know. Now that I've had a moment to ponder it, I can see it's probably somewhat of a technical challenge for certain architectures.
Either way, I appreciate your assistance! 👍
@yswtrue Confirmed here. The page will not load even if I turn off page translation.
The page loads fine in Opera 12.18, showing the RSS icon for subscribing.
Firefox does not like the page either:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
@pauloaguia only feeds. I'm not using a proxy.
I experimented a bit yesterday and this morning with restarting the browser. This issue seems indeed to be related to the link I mentioned in my original post:
Once the network connection goes down and/or is changed to another IP network, the feed stops working. A browser restart helps to get it working again. IMHO this is a bug and should be looked into by the development team.
@zdenek-smetana said in RSS stops working after net shutdown:
After deleting a post, the title of the next one is highlighted, but I can't delete it (and there is no content of this post on the tab on the right). I have to mark one of the remaining posts and back the first one, just to be able to delete it.
This one happens to me too. So far i seem to have pinpointed it to when there are multiple messages with the same timestamp, the selection in the list starts going crazy.
There is at least one other message where this was addressed recently (can't really be bothered to look for a link to it right now as I'm writing this on my phon, but maybe it'll help you analyze it)
@emothon the contacts are automatically created when indexing the messages. They're meant to be used as filters to show messages to/ from those contacts - for instance, to find out all messages from those bots and delete them all at once.
I think they should disappear once all their messages are gone (including from the trash bin) but i can't test that right now. If the contact still shows even though there's no message to support it, then i think a bug should be reported, including this scenario, to explain why it's a legitimate feature request...
@dudenas This is all I need... But I understand that many will want more.
I do have visual issues and am colour blind so I do not need anything fancy.

@pauloaguia And, sure enough, I just got another selection jump (which gets annoying sometimes, because I click on the message I want it to be at after the jump, but it still jumps another time again).
