@WildEnte Oh, I've little doubt it's Mac-specific... No, I didn't see a progress bar (or some such indication) during the M3 "import" — I've got to put the problem aside for a while: I'll be traveling...

@FManthey
Hi, do you have running AVAST or other AV software?
After an update of Vivaldi I could not add any mail account anymore running AVAST software on a friends PC.
Had to disable it and fine.
Cheers, mib
Thanks again for the response, I must of overlooked that since I was looking for a move to folder or move to inbox, my last response may have seemed kind smarta** I am sorry if it seemed to be I did not mean it to be.
Thanks
@Aaron Get a REAL VPN that operates on the OS-level and pay for it, free VPNs are not recommended for speed and privacy reasons.
Browser extensions that say they are "VPN" are just proxies and not secure.

@hstoellinger I think you misunderstood the explanation from that link. The comment itself is not marked in any special way - it's the part of the original message that gets highlighted. It works similarly in Vivaldi Mail, Thunderbird, and other popular e-mail clients.
Since you stated it wasn't deemed important and may never get rectified, my workplace went ahead and switched over to Firefox/Thunderbird (we couldn't keep running outdated and potentially unsecure browsers)
However, in the off chance the issue is repaired, can you update this thread? Thanks.
@Shoham Try the following. Right click over the unread view go to advanced in the menu and click "ReRun Filter for this Folder". I'm guessing the unread message does not exist and this step should update the viewed numbers. At least for me it helped before.
@WildEnte said in Maybe a wee bug: Add a space after filter:
@janrif I don't think ""path:" and "references:" can be understood by Vivaldi and thus might be ignored.
I agree but the illustration was to indicate that I had engaged filter action "mark to spam".
In the meantime, an item filtered on TO:address did not move item to proper folder.
@ayespy said in looking at headers:
@janrif Your query post included your full, actual email address. Making your email address public is bead for your security and your privacy. I edited it out.
@Ayespy Much appreciated. Thank you very much.
@gudmundurg74 i reinstalled vivaldi a week ago, and this started happening
i don't care about mail, but i do care about my rss feeds
now they are all gone, or are they? if i search in mail, it still shows how many results there are, but it doesn't show the results themselves
i deleted that folder, and it still shows results, and the permanent message in the status bar is gone... just kidding, it's just changed from "opening mail db" to mail client starting"
what should i do next? thanks
