@liuhoo Then this could be a bug with your Vivaldi 7.5.3735.54. I do not know how to fix. My idea is: Remove the broken IMAP account in Settings → Mail → Accounts Restart Open Settings → Mail → Accounts Re-Add the mail account again Please report issue to Vivaldi bug tracker, include as much detail as possible. Once that is done, share the bug number you got by bug report mail. And if interested read blog article, if you like to know about "A bug’s life at Vivaldi". Thanks for helping us making Vivaldi better.

I also find the reputation system a bit weird. Honestly, I would prefer to pay for the service to have access to webmail, than to have to start a blog or post in mastodon, while I'm waiting for someone to hit the approve button

@mib2berlin Shame about that decision. It is probably the one factor why we will never see Vivaldi in the corporate world where security is paramount and sensitive data is often transmited via email. Despite this flaw I will use it as a personal browser. There are enough options to enable / disable things I like / dislike and have it personalized to my liking.

@janrif, FYI  be aware of VB-93054 When replying to HTML mail, plaintext has not indentation, i.e. the sent message's plain text part no longer has indentation, > character, meaning: Message 2 Message 1 Becomes: Message 2 Message 1

OK, so it is not a settings issue. I will report the bug, I thought it may be something I had changed, it is really annoying me since I am so used to opening a mail from the widget and marking it read with K

The message that cannot be sent is located in All Messages > Outbox. Deleting it from there should resolve the issue.

@nuube Some older build triggered this issue - so the February date might explain the things and yeah - the corruption of the MailDB prevented to add/remove accounts. (and logically even to populate the DB with new entries).

@gmg @pafflick it seems that the advanced restore steps were removed.. it was done by purpose or is a mistake? I mean, I understand if it was hidden because is destructive on POP but I still think should be in the guide, even un-indexed, as it could still helps in case of corruptions.
