@Bachalo There are few settings that could interfere:
"allow background audio playback" ON;
"double tap back button to close app" OFF.
btw feel free to report it as a bug from the device, perhaps someone on MIUI 14 can replicate.
The same thing just happened to me, and I'm trying to make the question appear again. I've searched through the settings, but can't find a solution there to save my life.
mib2berlin, it is Emui 12 and Android 10. I have to correct my first post, because Vivaldi sometimes now store some of my bookmarks, after I have tried several times. 🙄 I know this sounds very unlikely, but that is actually the case.
BTW, I had my first mobile phone in 1984, so I am not new to phone problems, they are ususally just temporary.
@quicksand4627
Ah ok, then the detection in the tracker shows the wrong version.
Anyway, I cant reproduce it on Android 12, I guess we have testers with Android 11 devices to test this.
Cheers, mib
Sorry to say, but not working on Android 12. SDCard is still not usable as download destination in Vivaldi due to "Not enough space" which is definitely not the case.
adb shell
pm grant com.vivaldi.browser
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
App restart or device reboot does not do the trick 😞
Vivaldi 6.0.29.80.26 on Android 12 with latest version.

I second this motion. If there is a way to do this I am unaware of, please share.
I used to use an addon called cookie culler wth firefox before I found Vivaldi.
I could whitelist cookies and delete all others as part of periodic cleaning.
Some login pages simply will not autofill (Epoch Tiimes) thus I have to manually enter each time.
Would be nice to be able to "save" select cookies from regular deletions.
@northmadison My guess is that the sites you mention are only accessible for desktop computers. You could maybe try switching your browser to view the page in desktop mode doing this may let you access the sites
@Hadden89 Shut down floating keyboard,Still no. My other mobile phone, Redmi K30, also has this problem. I think adding a full-screen button to the browser would be a good solution
@Supernaut69
Hi and thanks for the report but there are several reports about this issue. I cant find them at my first search.
The master bug is VAB-7079, it is in progress.
Cheers, mib
