@BalanceKeeper Have you tried a free Notion account? I can save links from any client and open them anywhere, even without Vivaldi.

@luetage I mean there's a zoom slider in vivaldi android which works like I'd expect on desktop, and when I'm on certain pages, I can drag the slider and the font size changes without words slipping out of the visible area.

That tells me there's no technical or legal barriers preventing reflow (as suggested earlier in this thread). What's needed is to figure out what those pages, where it works, are doing, and to try and replicate that.

There was some bookmarklet code posted earlier, but that's not helpful, so these sites where reflow works right must be doing something else. I'm just wondering what it is, and if it might be easy to copy and use for this feature to put up the right "guardrails" around the visible area.

Well, for completion sake, it needs Mail, Calendar, Tasks and RSS feed reader. I'd consider Mail, Calendar and Tasks as one app and an RSS reader as another app. Or even a separate app for notes/tasks alone. Although i apreciate having the notes in Vivaldi mobile browser, i think it belongs in a different app.

For now i would be really happy with RSS and Tasks apps, as there's no way to sync these in mobile (that i know of).

Getting back to this one. Can we please get some improvement in this area?

Using tab bar on phone is difficult, I prefer to navigate between tabs via tab previews.

Right now it's frustrating to do, because you have to first find the active tab stack and open it, which puts "difficult" task with unpredictable / unstable target between the intention of going to certain tab and actually choosing the tab.

It would be much better - hopefully for everyone - if the tab previews opened first instead of tab stack previews and then you could use the back gesture to move to the tab stack previews and another back gesture to get back to the currently active tab.

Yes, it's adding additional back gesture for some users, but at the same time, it removes attention and cognition demanding action for the cost of adding a simple muscle memory only demanding action.

@aidengregg Not what you are asking for, because thumbs are not synced, buy if you use icons on desktop, the same should be present on mobile:

Also I think real thumbs would be poorly scaled on mobiles.

Sorry, I am using Blu G90, Android 13, Vivaldi 6.1.3035.48. Holding the system back button does work, but I would like that function in the Vivaldi menu's back button since I ordinarily use Android's gesture navigation that hides buttons.

Hm, I know this very well, therefor the desktop view is unusable for me.
But I never get it if I not manually change the setting, changing system font to XL does not change this.
This work as well on my old Android 8.1 phone.
I hope another user have an idea or can reproduce it at least.

Are you really ignoring user's privacy?
Why don't you implement anti fingerprinting for the mobile version of Vivaldi? If it's for technical reasons please explain it. It may help to understand the development decision.
