Here is my mod to fix the problem:
The other thing that can be considered is rendering the tooltips slightly before they are revealed, so there is no visible rendering delay.
And, for reference, chrome does have a delay before their "tab cards" pop up.
@premwork There is no such feature.

@ayespy said in put a different background image behind tabs:
before, the Speed Dial background and the Tabs background were different things. They didn't overlap.
I believe it should be a bit faster now too, the image does not get rerendered. And it works nicely with CSS mods. Personally I like this better, more unified, though adding the old option could be considered.

Display Close Button
Thanks, missed it before.

@perljshtml Have you ever try Left/Right position Tabbar? Vertical tabbar can manage a lot of tabs much better than top/bottom position tabbar. 😉
Well, it's fine with a large screen when you have a lot of unused horizontal space, but on smaller laptop screens it's not always a good option.

@trent Because its a server/client software. I don't want to send the commands though the (inter)net for some safety reason.
It's a good choice if you want to remote access another system.
Hello. ttyd do works with a client/server solution, this is something absolutely necessary to make it work into a browser (Except if you are the browser maker and have access to more low-level system APIs).
However, the server is launched on your computer and does not need to be exposed on the internet. You can block the access of the port used by ttyd from outside connections and allow them only from your computer.
@pesala I have this option ticked, and the gap was still there.
I checked browser's html, and #tabs-tabbar-container had a fixed padding value of 0px 0px 4px 0px by default.
Maybe it was hardcoded there to fix some layout bugs?
