Hi, open chrome://settings/passwords and disable "Auto Sign-in".
On some pages this will still not work, they store login data in cookies, Hotmail and other Microsoft pages, for example.

Update Default Location When Choosing Save as Location
After saving the first file, use Save, not Save as, until you wish to choose a different location for saving downloads.
To define what to do for each file type we need Support MIME types.
@mib2berlin Thanks for replying! The way I understand the items in the screenshot you attached, these are for certain underlying Chromium technologies baked into Blink.
What I am referring to here is for specific extensions from the Web Store that do not work under the current Vivaldi implementation as has been documented elsewhere on the forum in the past.
To test and see what I mean, checkout the Google Keep extension.
i want this feature too. i don't care about the speed, I just want it for security and privacy reasons. Loading a new page is fast enough for me, it doesn't have to be instant. I want to know that people can't see what I was looking at a day later.
Waterfox has the ability, erase the cache on shutdown. Its not a matter of rebuilding it. I just don't want I there.
I also want an easy way to change the cache location and the size with a clear now button. It doesn't have that, all the other browsers do.
Considering this browser is known for customizing and privacy I thought it was weird it didn't have good ways to manage cache privacy.
Opens Downloads tab via single button click. For all the glory that is Vivaldi, I hate that damn side panel ❤
